HI GUY'S! :D :D :D I'm a very great fan of the entire forum and especially of Super Mario 63, I've played over 2000 levels already! I've also started to make a level on my own, but it's actually a huge project, it's currently 30% done and it's gonna be a ... Well, you'll see.

I also have a suggestion about this "bumping rule". As far as I understood, it tells you not to post anything if the last post is too old so that the topic doesn't make a huge jump to the top of its subforum. But the thing is that I'd like to say some things about levels that are very old (about 2 years or so) since I liked them very much, but they don't have the attention they deserve. And I don't wanna be warned for such a post. So I'd suggest to order the level portal forum from the times the levels were posted, not from the last post. Too bad that such a setting doesn't exist. It would be nice if the mods could tell what they think about this idea.

Also: I've tried to search for a topic about tips how to reduce lag by editing a level code, but I couldn't find such a topic. It would be nice to tell me if something like this exists somewhere.

So yeah. I hope to have a great time here and bring a bit more life to this awesome forum. Greetings to Amp, MoD, Volcove, Star king and Triple J for making many awesome till outstanding levels and of course greetings to all other users.

Always nice to see a new designer on the site. Enjoy your stay and don't mind asking one of the different coloured users, in case you do need help.
(If there are any problems with level design, you can ask me too, as I do know a bit about that stuff as well. ^^)

It's very nice to see someone so enthusiastic about SM63 join the site, and I feel flattered that I have been mentioned too. :)

Of course if you love SM63 you can try out LL as well, we currently have a contest going for it so if you're interested then you are welcome to enter. With the bumping rule, it doesn't really apply to the level portal. While it can be a bit irritating to see lots of old levels at the top blocking the new levels, you wouldn't get a warning if you are giving helpful reviews to even really old levels. This is because we understand that people still want to comment on old levels. But I'm glad that you have picked up on this rule anyway, it means you have read them, and we appreciate that a lot.

If it was a real problem, somebody would pick you up on it before you get a warning anyway, so try not to worry about it. The main thing is just to enjoy yourself here and make some friends, and we hope you stick around. :3

Hey there shroom! Welcome to Runouw.com!

Following from what MP3 said, I'd like to warn you that Last Legacy's level designer is much more complicated and advanced. However it allows you to do so much more and the results can be astounding and very professional*.

But, hey, have fun!

**not that SM63 can't do that

Well, I must admit that I've never tried out LL so far, so the 2nd LLLDC comes way too early for me. But if there's another SM63 contest, I guess I would enter (if the theme fits, at least). Actually I'm quite busy with studying and some other activities, but I guess I'm gonna find some time to try LL. Also thanks alot for such nice welcome greetings!

EDIT: Now I've tried Chapter 1 for the first time, and it was just AWESOME! :awe: Though several parts of Aavikko Castle and Fort Syzygy were frustrating, with so many spikes and swordsmen, there I died some times ..., but yeah, was very great.
