We're currently finishing the 2015 edition of the Runolympics, the biggest site event in history, but further editions will surely come. Besides that, we also have the usual LDC's, where the aces of level designing compete against each other. If LDing isn't your thing, there are still many cool things to explore. There's also a Wiki which is in progress but already shows a nice overview over our lovely forums.

Runouw IRC and its endless idling championship. There should be people active during any time of the day, though.
Doram might not be available at times, but don't worry about it. He's a little older than the rest of us, and has had a lot of responsibilities to keep up with as of lately (else he'd already have posted here before me :P). Still, there's many more of the staff around, just watch out for the fancy colors.
And there's the Last Legacy forums, which also host their contests. Runouw and the rest of the dev team are currently working on the second sequel to the series, and it'll be huge.
