We also have art, writing, and programming communities that are fairly active, much less the most serious Serious Discussion you will find anywhere (believe me, I've looked). Ask a user with a name colored anything other than blue, if you need anything.

It's fairly active (though don't be surprised by occasional breaks in activity that can sometimes last an hour or more), and that's probably the best way to start getting to know people around here and discussing stuff.
