Introduction: DualFreezor

Postby DualFreezor07 » December 16th, 2015, 3:59 pm

Ciao! DualFreezor here,

I am the known as the world's greatest magician who almost destroyed the entire universe as we know it with... magic!

Nah, joking, that's dimentio, it's always nice to have some fun with roleplaying. I am a guy who currently lives in Australia (G'day!) and in the middle of studying university. As such, a lot of time I will either be busy or be occupied in some other things, which means I will not be a very active user here in Runouw. If you couldn't tell, I like to have a sense of humour, try to, at least. I'm not very knowledgable in using forum, so I'll appreciate it if you correct some mistake I make along the way. In addition, I am currently a programmer in training, don't believe me? how about this:

boolean notConvinced = true;
if(notConvinced == true){
System.out.println("Hello World!");
System.out.println("Do you believe me now?");
}

Now why do I decide to join Runouw? Well, years ago, I came across this game called Super Mario 63, and I have found out that I really enjoyed making level in the level designer (none of them are published). Years later, now being more mature and confident, I'm still eager to do level designing in Mario 63, they aren't difficult to make and allow you to have fun with them. Not sure how this will turn out but I'll see how I go. :)

There, my rather lengthy introduction, hope I'm welcome here.

Christian's brother confirmed

Anyways, ignore what I said above. Hi, I'm FrozenFire (or FF for short) and I'm a Level Moderator. I am known to help with stuff that is Level Designing related, not only Super Mario 63, but also Last Legacy, another game created by Runouw (and furthermore an amazing game that you should definitely check sometime). If you need any help or if you have any question about any kind of thing that involves Level Designing, feel free to Private Message me (by clicking on the PM button in my profile).

I hope you have a good time here, anyways.

(it would be pretty cool if you were christian's brother tho)

Ayyy, another person who likes level designing! I'm Shroom, not a level moderator but still someone who enjoys guiding people into the fantastic world of designing, and approachable for any stuff around it. And the chat is the best way to stick into the community in general.

It's no problem that you're not familiar yet with using our forums well, we have a bunch of focused guides so just look around, and enjoy yourself here!

Thank you, FF.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

Yo, I'm Vesoralla. I design levels too.
I also play Super Smash Bros 4 (I play R.O.B.), and I like to quote Spongebob.
