Q: Open competition as in someone outside Runouwlympics can participate for the medal?

Open Competition: [Example: Art and Level Designing Contests]: This event is similar to the individual event, in that each team will FIRST have to choose one representative for their team BEFORE the event. These four five representatives (one for each team) WILL have to enter the event. However, this event differs in the fact that more than these 4 5 can participate in the contest, even people that didn't sign up for the Runolympics at all (if they wish). Everyone will be judged equally, however ONLY THE FOUR FIVE REPRESENTATIVES will count towards their team's performance, EVEN IF someone from the same team scores higher.

Yeah so basically even if someone in the red team for example won the art contest, if they weren't the representative then the red team doesn't necessarily win the RO event overall. If the actual representative for the blue team came second, then the blue team would win the RO event. But the person from the red team who won would still get an art medal, it just wouldn't count towards Runolympics.

But none of that matters, because the rep for green team is going to come in first.
