EVENT 1: Art Contest

Welcome, everyone to the very first event of the 2015 edition of the Runolympics!
Sorry, I am a bit late, but one team had some trouble choosing a representative, and I also had some Internet connection problems. But now both of these problems are fixed, we can finally start (with a slight delay) the...

AWARDS
The five teams have each chosen one member to represent them in this event. These 5 members are:
For Blue Team:
For Team Super:
For Green Team:
For Team Dark:
However, THIS IS AN OPEN COMPETITION!
This means the contest is not limited to these 5 reps: EVERYONE CAN ENTER!
If 6 people or more enter (which means we just need one more), a normal Art Contest medal will be awarded to the winner!
The goal of the Art Contest is to make an art piece that fits a given theme. For the very first event of the official Runolympics, it is obvious for the theme to be...
Spoiler: show
This means you have to make an art piece about the Runolympics, and/or about the values they represent (teamwork, fair-play, etc...). ANY FORM OF ART IS ALLOWED, meaning drawings, digital art, comics, stories, poems, music, photos, short movies, sculptures, etc... are all eligible for this Art Contest. Exception though: while some might consider them like art, levels won't be allowed
For example, the following entries will be accepted:
- An emblem for your team
- An anthem for the Runolympics in general
- A mascot design for the RO 2015
- A story about teamwork
- An alternate logo for the RO 2015, and more...
Since the entries are expected to be rather varied, we'll use the following judging system (inspired by deviantArt's critic system):
- APPEAL: -/5
- Is your art piece pretty to look at, nice to hear or good to read? Or are there any anomalies? This is how we feel when looking at your picture, or after reading your story or listening to your melody. Here we judge the final product.
- Exactly how original is your art piece? Has it been down before, or does it feel new? Is there something that really makes it yours or does it look extremely broad and generic? Here we judge your concept.
- Was your drawing made in the corner of your math notebook, or is it proper and clean? Here we judge the finished how you executed your original idea.
- If anything stands out to your artwork, like a deeper meaning or a striking color palette choice, points will be added or deducted here.
The art pieces will be judged by and I (). If anyone EXTERIOR TO THE RUNOLYMPICS is willing to judge as well, feel free to PM us or post in this topic! We will consider your offer.
General:
- Artwork must be done specifically for the contest. Artwork made before the contest won't be allowed.
- Participants can only submit one art piece (unless they are all part of the same set).
Concerning team representatives:
- Team representatives can ask their teammates for ideas, concepts or feedback. However, team representatives have to work on the art piece ON THEIR OWN.
- It will NOT be possible to change your representative during the contest. If your representative fails to deliver an art piece in time, you will get last place by default.
