Ok, I've heard lots of feedback from people, and I'm kinda agreeing with a lot of it. The VG tournament time is totally passed, and we're eating the CAH tournament time. So, let's just take a pass on the VG tourney and skip to the CAH tournament. I'll be running it as best I can by myself, and let's finish this thing.

What I need from you guys: Confirmation on your representatives for the CAH tournament, and the best times for each rep. You have 24 hours.

Can the Gaming Tournament be moved to the end of the event and we do it later on?

How will timezones work with this? I assume, since classes are starting back up, that there might have to be some wrangling with schedules.

I would guess at some point during the weekend, because weekdays are hard to coordinate with timezones. Also, I don't see why we couldn't run the LL contest at the same time as the CAH tournament, since CAH is only going to be four rounds. That could probably be finished in a sitting or two, depending on how much time everyone has available. Otherwise, it won't matter much if we have to spread it across multiple weeks, because we can find the scores immediately based on people's scores in the actual rounds.

As far as I can tell, time zones for this particular contest won't be too much of an issue, because the reps are probably only going to be from north/south america and europe, so I guess something somewhat early PT and probably somewhat later GMT?

EDIT: Obviously there are Runolympians who are in timezones further east in Asia, but what I meant is that it seems like most of the teams' representatives for CAH are probably going to be from timezones that are somewhat close together, so timing shouldn't be a huge issue, aside from figuring out everyone's availability.

Finally, now let's just pray that this doesn't occur again...

It could be debated if the winning team isn't known after the Hunt.

When and at what time is this going to be? It's important for us to know.
