Yes, and while I do not have the authority to poke around the LL forums, or the LL site, and hide stuff everywhere, I COULD hide stuff in the wiki, so I did. Besides, I totally want to make the two wikis work together, after this RO business is over........

Besides, the LL site is as much Runouw's home as this one, and I'd like the sister sites to act more like it, frankly. I had no time to really coordinate with management over there, so I just accomplished what I could by myself.

Ok, this is embarrassing. I just realized I got the numbers wrong on one of the puzzles. This is what happens when you rush.

!The "search" comes last, and all is clear when you replace the second ten with one hundred.

Oh, and since the event is half over, and NOBODY has gotten into the Crack the Code forum, I'm going to be a lot less obtuse.

!That first clue was pointing to the password to the Crack the Code forum, and it's valuable contents, the BBCode with the final 5 codes of the hunt. The first sentence, just gave you a taste of where these things would be hidden, but was not a full list. The second sentence has the first of the two referenced hints in it in the first 4 words, and the end of the sentence was the pointer to the forum ("crack this open"). The next sentence is the complete hint to the password to the forum, and as the hidden hint states, the last sentence is literal advice.

Now, seriously, Crack that Code!

EDIT: Ack. That was supposed to be "4 words" not 3, sorry. <-- and, by the way, anyone looking at this fresh will find nothing to correct above, as I have already corrected it, but the lurkers that were hanging out as I made this post would have needed this warning...

What?! Are you serious?! I still can't solve what the password is! :X

Hopefully the password is the same as Pokemon RSE. TRICK MASTER Runouw is awesome.

I've always thought it was the FoA hidden behind that password

and generally if it has a password I would expect it to be a wild mishmash of letters and numbers, not a word like "bilbobaggins" or "voldemortbilbobaggins" or such (then again, it could have been altered)

Thank you, FF.

Nan's sig! From the previous Secret Santa event!: show
Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

I knew it was referencing the password but I tried and failed to figure it out :p

Here's another nudge...

!You can take this one literal, like the private one I gave to you. Your best tool here is organization. Literally write it all down together and have notes as to how things connect. Every clue I have given thus far is an answer to a question someone was asking about all of this, whether you knew to ask or not. Sometimes a clue that was a total revelation for someone else, merely removes a possibility for you, but they all do fit together and point in the same direction - that lovely round 40.

And, a further nudge for Crack the Code. Both halves of the clue refer to riddles that those characters made, and specifically, either the starting place, or the finishing place for those riddles.

Oh, and Supershroom, us Glomos can reset the password to the Crack the Code Forum, which is what I did for the contest. It may have been a mishmash of characters before, but it's words now as it is one of my puzzles.

Oh...So that means the codes in the crack that code forum don't count in the password right?

EDIT:So we find all 37 codes that have words in them and puzzle them to find the password? That's gonna take a while.

!No, there are at least 5 prize codes (that are part of the 40 total) that can only be found in the Crack the Code forum, as well as more hints for what lies outside, but the password that you will use to enter the forum is NOT a prize code. Just a password. All of the solutions to these puzzles are something that hides a prize, but some puzzles are layers deep.

It's still very luck-based if you have two words or three or such and you have no clue what to do with them. It would have been a better idea if e.g. the three cluewords from the LL wiki would form the password in a specific order (e.g. by the sizes of the sites they come from).

And the thing is now, no matter how I try to combine these words (all in lowercase!), it doesn't seem to work and it's simply frustrating. And as said, finding a password this way is not really an effort of thinking. I don't think we can proceed any further unless the password is given out.

Crazy thought of me is that the password will be all 37 codes (don't include the codes in crack that code). "That's crazy, no one would ever type that long." That's what I think.
