Hint Rush Entry #7!

!The little over puzzle brings together all of the small sets (aside from the wikis), plus the codes from the other two smilies, as part of one big clue, which was supposed to lead up to the "Little Winner" prize code.
Little Over Puzzle Arc: "Speaking of Voldemort, it's his middle name. It's a smilie." So, take that, and stick it between some colons, and you have the "Little Winner".

Hint Rush Entry #8!

!Still having problems with the Crack the Code forum? The first 3 words are Voldemort's real full name (the riddle is that fact that an anagram of his name is "I am Lord Voldemort"), and the last three is the answer to the unfair riddle asked by Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit: "What do I have in my pocket?", also 3 words (beginning with "the"). It's a ring, and not just any ring. There's a poem about the ring, in fact, that gives it this title, by the way.

Hint Rush Entry #9!

!Having problems with the secret passwords? The obvious thread puzzle answer is a secret password, and has 2 words, as is the profile puzzle (remember to be specific). I've already told you that the wiki puzzle password has 3 words, but so does the final one.

Hint Rush Entry #10!

!The completed puzzle sets are: First clue in hunt thread -> secret password 1 + Crack the Code password, 10 obvious in threads -> secret password 2, 10 in profiles -> secret password 3, all wikis (3 each - total: 6) -> secret password 4, first 4 secret passwords -> 5th secret password (big prize), 3 obvious in Crack the Code + 3 hidden in Crack the Code + 2 smilie hover text -> last smilie (little winner)

Hint Rush Entry #11!

!STILL looking for that last smilie code? Try something obvious, and spell it out completely - like what Forum are we all posting in...

Hint Rush Entry #12!

!Here's the full text of the puzzles (minus the attached numbers):
  • Profile Puzzle: stellar nebula, big bang, edge (of the) universe, galaxy, picture camera (in) orbit
  • Threads Puzzle: There1 is1 a2 clue3 in5 here8 too13 if21 you're34 smart55
  • Wikis Puzzle: ten to the tenthhundredth power search
  • Secret Passwords Puzzle: Billy Mays July Twentieth -> Big Winner
  • Crack the Code (obvious + hidden) + 2 Smilies: Speaking of Voldemort, It's his middle name. It's a Smilie. -> Little Winner

Doram said in the IRC he had to stop everything and dump out all of the hints because of an emergency. So, I guess that's probably the end of the thing.

3 hours and 30 minutes left. If you don't send me anything, I'll look at whatever list is in your team's forum and use that. (because Doram isn't here.) Anything sent after the deadline isn't going to be accepted.

Looks like no passwords are accepted anymore ... I'll send it off if we didn't send it already. Bummer.

At least we can't say we wouldn't have tried.

Thank you, FF.

Nan's sig! From the previous Secret Santa event!: show
Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

And now, the results for:

Image RESULTS

Well, everyone was pretty public with their results, so there's less unknown about this lineup than usual, and that means we'll dispense with the drama again.

[div textcolor=#ffffff bgcolor=#009c3b width:100]
1st place: Crystal Clods!
Confirmed: Full List 40/40 on September 3rd, 2015, 6:06 pm PST
[/div]

[div textcolor=#ffffff bgcolor=#000000 width:100]
2nd place: Team Dark!

[/div]

[div textcolor=#ffffff bgcolor=#0182c4 width:100]
3rd place: Team Magma!
Confirmed: 32/40 on September 4th, 2015, 6:49 pm PST (last code posted - no PM)
[/div]

[div textcolor=#000000 bgcolor=#efbe00 width:100]
4th place: Team Super!
Confirmed: 30/40 on September 4th, 2015, 11:43 pm PST
[/div]

[div textcolor=#ffffff bgcolor=#da0023 width:100]
5th place: Team Red!
Confirmed: 11/40 on September 3th, 2015, 10:48 pm PST (last code posted - no PM)
[/div]

Good job everybody. That was tough, and I know it. Excellent puzzle solving skills were exhibited here, and I think both the Crystal Clods and Team Dark have more future nominees for smartest user in their ranks. Good solid effort from Team Super and Team Magma. I was rooting for you guys to get a full 40, and I think, given more time, you would have gotten there. Red Team, You gave it a good try, but Goldy, who posted the most codes, was also working on the LL LDC entry for your team at the same time. That's a lot of work. I think that deserves an MVP nomination from you, don't you agree?

Oh, and for the record, the numbers were generated at Random.com, and were mostly for security sake. (Although, I realized afterwords that there was a bonus in that they give some consistency to what you were looking for. Clearly the OP would not have had a big number and a word smashed together and floating around, alone, in their post.)
