I figured as much, though didn't figure out the switch part. I would suggest hinting a bit more that it involves the switch (though I dunno how... maybe make a bit more of a staircase out of snow? I really have no idea)

Winter is here, and today Mario & Co. are visiting a winter wonderland! This Frozen Fantasy world is perfect for those who want to relax, spread joy and cheer, and enjoy the lovely month of December. Unfortunately, there are a few baddies that hid Silver Stars important for lighting up a giant Christmas Tree back at the town square! Mario & Co. split up and got to searching for the Silver Stars!
The backstory looks fine now and the music is more fitting.
Also something I didn't notice while doing the furniture (I don't know how tbh) is that items aren't covered by the red carpet tiles which is odd. Seeing items like that looks kinda sloppy, though to be fair I don't know what to swap the carpet with. Maybe just raise the furniture by a little bit, so it doesn't look as bad.
