Ummm ... yes, mine is also bad on everything what isn't SM63, LL and Sonic Heroes. Even on SMBX I suck at times, and I fear there will be many games I don't know at all. At least your horizon seems to be wider than mine. And maybe the other teams also have similar concerns.

Maybe you should rephrase the question to "who do you give most credit for SM63". And FL, keep in mind that we can assist each other with playtesting and bugchecking before the deadline.

1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

I decided to take part in gaming tournament. But I'm very worried about school time. (or even different time zone) :facepalm: What should I do?

Breaking news ...

Timezones won't be a problem for the GT. Star king and Doram will make this fair to everyone. About school time, it's probably not that demanding on a single day, it just stretches over ten days in total where you would have to "sacrifice" a bit of your spare time.

I'll definitely take a gaming spot and let Jumbo and you arrange yourselves in regard of skills and time management. If you can't decide yourselves till the start of the SM63 Event, the poll will become effective in "favour" of Jumbo. (I've removed it for convenience).

I'm convenient to take part in SM63 LDC more than gaming tournament because I can manage it after school. But you should ask Jumbo again to choose the representative for SM63 LDC. If he really want to take part in SM63 LDC, choose him for SM63 LDC and I'll take part in gaming tournament.

The best criterion for now would be indeed some information about Jumbo's gaming skills or schedule stuff. Especially the latter one.

EDIT: He doesn't seem to respond, so he obviously wants to take SM63 ... that's fine I guess.

I personally say Fluor should design- he's good with designing well in limited time situations. But Jumbo would work just as well. I'd just say that if someone held a gun to my head I'd say Fluor. I'd say probably not to Supershroom- no offense meant, but you need more time to make levels due to their intricacy and struggles with bugs. That's why I didn't even offer my name.

Well, if you finally decide to be our rep for SM63 then this means you can't also enter the Gaming Tournament, because else FL or me wouldn't have any event to participate in besides the Team Events. We are six people and there are six spots for Individual Events / Open competitions.

The Gaming Tournament is an Individual Event which only two people of each team take part in and noone else. The SM63 event is an Open Competition in the sense that it is a regular LDC where you can win a medal (and points for my Eternal Tables), while the "inner" result between the five reps of each team goes into the Overall results of the Runolympics.

If you believe in your Gaming skills and if it fits into your time schedule, it's apparently the best for you to take Gaming and still submit an extra SM63 entry (just as if it was any other LDC).

If you feel like you're not a good gamer / you don't have enough time for the Gaming Tournament etc., it's the best to take the SM63 Representative spot. Then Fluor will be my gaming partner. And if you're really not sure about what to do, then there is still the result of the poll.
