One Last Task

There are a couple of things I need worked out before we wrap this all up:

Do you guys have any nominations for disqualifications or an MVP? Let me know in this thread. I haven't been privy to all your communications (I have no way to see private IRC or Steam chats, for example), so it is up to you to tell me who fits into these categories.

I'll be checking in on this in a week or so, and if there are MVP noms, I can bring it to the main forum, and we can discuss them there.

I think my main MVP nomination is: OJ. Only the fact that he managed to finish the LL level on the LLLDC in like one day (or get at least 90%) already makes him 100% MVP. But he also helped us on the Forum Hunt, not to mention the fact that he went really nice with literally everyone else on all teams. So, I'd say he's the best for this category.

I don't want to make any disqualifications, and I don't really feel the need to do so. Most of the discussions that happened about the Events weren't really conflicts, and nobody broke any rule or anything like that, so I am cool with it.

Well, I don't know if nominations for MVP are appropriate as long as results for SM63 and LL aren't out. Literally everything goes into it - activity, kindness, spirit, teamplay on one side, but also success in events on the other side (winning an open competition should give you a boost even if you weren't the rep).

For DQ's, Lucasaguiarnf didn't show up anytime after signing up, neither posting nor visiting, and not having any contact with his team. He obviously doesn't earn a participation medal.

EDIT: Something I wanted to ask a long time ago ... could the participation medal receive the same beige-golden background as the Runolympics forum? Because with Razzia-grey it looks a bit dull IMO.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.
