I think most of us have experience with the Designer. However, I'd propose that MP3 be the one to take this challenge. :3

Of course, we'll help with ideas, advice, beta testing, and whatnot.
Some day I'll fix my sig.

Well so far it looks like I'm doing the LL contest so it's not really logical for me to do both.

I concur with what Nan said because most (if not all) of MP3's levels blow my mind.

;-; *feels eternally honoured*

As I've said to Nan already, I am a little worried because I've not practiced in a while and I'm not too good at the smaller levels, if there is a size limit.
But even then, my strong point is still story/conveying emotion/graphics. And I'm getting better at doing gameplay alongside all that. So I'll try and get a bit of everything in and you guys will be able to judge me on my behalf.

We have a fair amount of time, so maybe you could throw us a small test level (like, 125 long or something, maybe even less) for both practice and pointing out what areas need improvement? It might prove invaluable when the event comes.

What sort of level theme would you like me to try practicing on? Like just a natural environment of a forest or cave or something more urban/technical?

I feel like we should be expecting a more urban theme, but just for safety you should primarily focus on a city and maybe do a little park or something in it.

The only annoying thing is, the SM63 LDC is scheduled for the exact time where I'm going to be most inactive because I'm doing a play at my local theatre with rehearsals every day. But that doesn't mean I won't be able to do it, it's just a bit inconvenient. I do most of my thinking work at night time anyway so there's no loss.

My designing skills is really not anything special now. I'll be joining the LDC for fun.
Indefinite hiatus on Level Designing...
Upcoming Levels: show
Elix Lowland - Located within an untouched continent, this lowland has seawater gushing through its area, yet it never floods. The lowland's ecosystem becomes incredibly lively due to all the circumstances...
Ruby Dungeon Omega (But wait!) - The legendary dungeon of rubies, reborn in LL! Can you retrieve the legendary weapons of flame in this hellish inferno?

Btw, just to say, I've planned out a sort of concept that I'd like to use for a level. It really depends on what the theme will be and that'll determine if I can fit my concept to the theme somehow. But as it stands, I'm happy with it, but I won't say what it is yet because it needs further planning before I confirm it. But hopefully it ticks the box of subtle story (emphasis on subtle), graphics, and lots of gameplay. It might also be a bit innovative.
