Are you playing the online version? I use the downloadable version and it's fine on my end.

I am using the downloadable version but it might be because I've been running it for a while. I'll close it after I'm finished with what I'm doing and that might make a difference.

I'm thinking of keeping all the rooms black and red but changing the red background to a slightly paler shade every time we go up a section, so then it's not too overdone.
I'll add small bits of decoration afterwards, probably just vines and stuff because plants won't work indoors.
