PSA: The Rules of "The War"

First of all, it's 6:22 am and I am probably going to be late to school typing this. Because I understand some of your positions, I'll stay for a bit and clarify a few things though.

1. All spam is to be contained within either Razigrad or the Rebel Headquarters.
2. If you want to "win", postcount in the OPPOSING subforum. Whoever wins is determined by how many posts are in the opposing team's aubforum.
3. Anyone found spamming outside of these forums will be punished accordingly, with the same rules that are currently graveyarded for the sake of immersion.
4. Once the "war" is over, the winners will be awarded an extra medal along with a medal showing which side they were on.
5. Once the "war" is over, any and all posts and subforums relating to this event will be either moved to the graveyard or deleted.

If you do not appreciate parody or RP, it is really REALLY easy to simply leave the forums until then. I'm quite certain that all of you have something better to do -- like homework, chores, hell, even using the extra time to level design since we fixed the portal once it was pointed out -- if you want nothing to do with this event.

If you still haven't adjusted to the hastily made stylesheet, there's a neat little thing called CTRL+A (or CMD+A if you have a mac). The blue highlight overrides all the background color, making every character easily visible.

Man, this could have been posted earlier. Yet posts in the global announcements still count, and there are too many.

I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with it, but whenever you want a war-themed RPG in the future, please avoid using Stalin pics, "HEIL" phrases or whatever is a direct reference to historical dictatures. There are still limits.

And, what matters the most, this war-RPG can still be done without a ♥♥♥♥ forum layout.

@FrozenFire: In German it's "HEIL", in English it's "HAIL".

Thank you, FF.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

Oh, and for everyone worried about it, postcounting was turned off in both those forums, just like Off Topic.
