Inactive Site

Postby Master1.0 » May 8th, 2011, 6:49 am

As you guys might have noticed, the site seems to be getting inactive. Posts come at a slower rate, mot as many people visit, and so forth. The main problem is because the chat is gone. The site started to get more inactive after the chat was gone, and now look where we are. Hell, the music forum actually went more than a week without a single post, not many people post in the level designer (unless you talk about contests).

Now, you can discuss it here.

Whatya talkin' 'bout, foo? The site isn't inactive at all. The music forum has never really been very active, and people only really posted to say what they were listening to. It would be better if it could be changed into a bigger forum with books, TV and movies as well. If you're going to talk about inactivity in a forum, why don't you talk about the Other Games which hasn't had a post there for over a month?

Plus, let remember that the fact the chat on this site is off, most of people are on the backup chat

Everybody agrees that Off-Topic is the most active, and posts practically come every minute?

I posted a quiz in Forum Games (which by the way, I belive accounts for 1/5 of the forum's posts), and half an hour later? Not a single post.

I, for one, agree with Master.

You all make me laugh.

Yes the site has become a little bit inactive without the chat but have you thought that maybe your topics aren't exactly interesting?
I nearly never get a post in topics I make.

You just got to be patient with these things, they will be over soon.

Watch when LL gets a major update or something, people will be flooding back on to this site and it will be more active than ever.
I'm Pretty sure I should put something here...

Some topics don't just get many posts. That's nothing new, and it doesn't mean the site is becoming inactive.

Hang on.

I didn't mean a specific topic, I mean the whole FORUM.

Off-Topic didn't get a post for a whole half-hour. It normally gets a new post every half-minute. You can't hold a single topic responsible for that.

Not a topic.

Off-Topic.

<_< And? There have been plenty of times where users did not post in Off-topic for a while. It doesn't mean the site is inactive. (seeing the time you made your post, it's obvious that most members here are sleeping anyways). To me, you and Master are just overreacting.

Right now, the site has not shown any major symptoms of inactivity. So there's really no reason for discussing it. Locked.
