Cookie Is Only Sometime Award?

I just noticed... in awards, Doram had a cookie... what the hell's a cookie? o.o Why is he the only one with one (no offense) and how did he earn it? (also, should Doram win an event award, he will be the first user to EGOT- i.e. get one of all 5 awards.) Discuss!

A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

So basically it's similar to the like system, except it's a medal, and has to be staff-approved. (so if you nominate someone for the cookie just for rating your Avatar high or something, chances are they're not going to get one.)

I got the cookie because I redid Suyo's Reference Art in this thread, and he was so happy, he came up with the cookie. (I'm quite proud of the art, but the cookie was a complete surprise. I had seen the Suyo Yoshi before, but hadn't realized it came from that thread, then I decided he needed a better version, spent a week or two, and you can see the result...)

The cookie medal is a picture of an actual cookie; I just made a cartoon version of it (with some added stuff). The image is still in the topic...

Soo... how do you get a cookie medal? Four people have them I think... but it's only because I clicked on the medals page because I was curious. Some of the reasons included "awesome". :awe:

And I know this has nothing to do with cookie medals but when do events take place? Some of the medals I've never seen nominations or threads for them so just a tad bit curious..
