What is it with Lots of guests?
Right now, theres like 50 guests, Why?

I'm not sure if this is the entirety of the problem, but every now and again I go around without logging on. Chances are a chunk of those guests are users that haven't logged on for some reason or another.

But JSlayerXero, what's the point? It's CLEARLY stated that you get more stuff when logged in, like, I dunno, posting, chat, level-posting, blahdeblahblah. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying what is the point of these users doing it, if they are?

1.maybe they just want to see if the site is good for them
2.maybe there are members that visit the site just to acces the chat (without log on)
3.Maybe they're banned and want to see what's up
4.maybe they want to find a version of SM63
5.Maybe some of them are bots from google/freeforums to check out something

So don't be scared, they can't spam here i hope

I recall one time, there was like, 100 guests at a time. I thought a lot of them were either spammers or people who will register but will never use the forums in their life.

Protip:

A guest can browse on the forums. At the right of the "Guests" word, there is some notice saying: "Based on the people active on the past 5 minutes" or something like that. It means the number doesn't show the number of guests, but the number of actions and clicks made by non-logged-in members. For example, if a random guest click everywhere to check random topics, and click 50 times on the forum, it will show "50 guests" though there is only one real online. So sometimes 100 guests only means 3 of them.

Actually, no. "Based on the people active on the past 5 minutes" means exactly what it sounds like--all users and guests that have accessed the forums in the last 5 minutes. Though, that does mean that even if it says 100 users are online, they might not all be online at once. I just checked the "Who is online" a few minutes ago just to assure myself; there were 32 users online, and clicking "Who is online" displayed 28 guests, which means 4 of them have been gone for less than 5 minutes. Moreover, all guest IPs were different.

I dont think having a bunch of guests is a problem or bug. Guests are simply users not logged in, they are just visiting the forums (70% of chance they are a bunch of downraters who downrated the levels on the old portal, and some may be here to play levels)
