Ideas For The Chat

Right. We need suggestions for the chat here. We were discussing this on Chatango, tried a variety of chats like TinyChat, Voxli, etc. and didn't cut it.

Here we go. Need ideas.

SuyoEDIT:
For clarification, we need to move away from Chatango. It's not childsafe.
Do not suggest: Mibbit or any IRC, Chatango, TinyChat, Voxli, xat

I might look around Google later and see if I can find something we could use. No promises I'll find anything, though. Also:

I recently found that it's a hotbed for highly sexual flingers and when you go to private chat anyone, you are instantly exposed to that.

Yeah, Suyo actually PM'd me what the whole deal with Chatango was.

Frankly I'm not surprised that this comes from a chat that Suyo picked out :awe:

Well, let's get discussin'. No web-based, since the only two I found were Mibbit (forbidden by Suyo) and WebIRC (forbidden by Suyo).

All downloadable IRC clients are forbidden by Suyo. (Blab's dad, thanks a lot. Pretend you didn't read that.)

Other chats are porn-targeted, and thus forbidden by Suyo.

Suyo cannot ban or see people's IPs on Voxli or Tinychat, and are thus forbidden by you-know-who.

I think we should just all download steam, and talk in a group chat. : D


But honestly, I have no idea what to do about the chat. I haven't really been looking for any. I'm sure if we just use something like mibbit (please don't kill me) and just ignore anyone who isn't welcome it would be fine.

It's not just you, but others unable to download most things and then them ♥♥♥♥♥ around because they can't join. I just used you as an example.
