I'm not that good at giving advice....but maybe we could get the users more involved next time? I dunno, it just seems like if you were to jump on the forums in the middle of this you'd probably go insane from how confused you were. And it's more fun when we have staff and other members participating and playing the part.

OK, lessee. I'ma feedback on this year's joke.

Good stuff: The Emergency forum skin (yes even with everything invisible), the start of the joke when there was novelty, and also MoD's name changes
Bad stuff: Offense to quite a lot of non-Christians, the pink background, and oh god the forum names.
What you could improve: Make an animated background with TRIPPINESS instead of pink, and also make it so that we can edit forums names freely at any time for ultimate chaos

I actually planned to do the blinking background from the punishment, but as I just said there are people with epilepsy.

I gotta admit, I'm sorry that I lost it when the site was changed to the emergency mode. Though, I think you should've just stuck with Anilo taking over for a few days or so. We didn't need God running in, nor did we need the emergency mode that made it hard to navigate.

I actually thought the April Fools was very well-planned and thought-out, I didn't have a problem with it. I enjoyed laughing about it and making jokes about it.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was that people took it so damn seriously. I don't think it's fair to say "down with AniLo or MoD" or "I'll leave the site if this is an April Fools" because it doesn't give many options. Just, in the future, people should just go along with it and enjoy the joke, like I did.

Actually, if anything, it should offend Christians and Catholics like myself. We believe that God is always merciful and forgiving. Also, only one God exists in our eyes.

On another matter, a trippy background has a risk for epileptic seizure. No.


If I had to say anything about this whole thing, I'd say start a little later, so people don't take it seriously (for some reason), or they take it seriously right when the end is near. I had to explain the whole thing to a few people so they didn't go leave forever or kill themselves. >_>

Actually, that was supposed to be the point in the end. You would have been asked to choose a side (AniLo, God, Runouw) and everyone who participated would have gotten a medal depending on his choice.

It would have been hard to do all this in just 1 or 2 days. We also had an "intro" with last years shadowsquid prank, so I guess MoD didn't think it would be bad when we started.

I have to agree that members were not really involved. And seriously, AniLo was way enough. Also this needed more revolution. But hey, over all, it was not too bad. But emergency mode at the end was just too much.

Though it made me make a nice avatar and a cool signature, which I'm gonna keep for a little while cause they are nice
