The old Runouw site. It was fun because it was easy to use, people were friendly, and everybody was willing to give you a thumbs up.


Thenew Runouw site. Why can't I rate this level? Why did the old portal get erased? Why do you have to look at our levels before we can post them? Why isn't this site fun anymore?

We apologize if you do not like the new revamps to the site. The reason for the new portal is that the old portal was being flooded with spam levels. And when I say flooded, I mean a torrential downpour that went for 40 days and 40 nights and is the reason we only have two of every animal in the world now. With this new system, the process may take longer, but there will be no levels that just have spams of Big Bullies 50 times, and levels with signs that just yell at another user.

If there's any questions about how to use the site, I'm sure all of us would be glad to help.

I had no idea. Why would anyone do that? 3 Big bullies alone crash my computer already, but 50? And why would anyone yell at another person on this site? This site is supposed to be for fun, not anger. Any why would anybody be angry in the first place? It's people who are just plain mean who are the reano why we have to have our levels checked.

Yup. It's not like it's a whole lot of people who do it, but it's those few people who ruin it for everyone.

Also this new site look is more beautiful imo.

I dunno, it looks a bit gray and depressing. I kinda liked the old style, but then again, it's a strain on the eyes for users during the night. :L

I dont know why is the old level portal is gone? maybe its full?

The staff decided to implement the new portal so that they could better attract more forum-goers and increase posts per day. It wasn't that it was too full, just that we wanted to make the site better, and let users know the forums existed.

That, and so level moderators could... well, moderate more effectively. I actually don't think increasing postcount was part of it though. The closest reason I could think of is to get portal users to read all the levelmaking advice threads.
