Posts don't count in Off-Topic?

Postby CrazyMario » August 3rd, 2012, 5:05 am

Okay. So I know, posts don't increase when you post in Off-Topic/Forum Games, but at the front page, there is one section called Off-Topic,and in it are the Gaming, real Off-Topic and Serious Discussion Forum.

So when people say "Off-Topic posts don't count", do they mean that posting in Gaming and Serious Discussion won't increase your postcount,or just in Off-Topic and Forum Game?

Karyete: I don't have anything to say to you, I've been deliberately trying to not offend you for years, actually, but apparently everything I say to you is wrong. You come across as so aggressive that you successfully intimidated me into not wanting to talk to you
Karyete: Seriously, what is your problem? And not only that, you fail to even acknowledge you might be in some wrong here.
Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.
Karyete: We don't want to hear your opinion at this stage.
Karyete: You're not getting any apology, especially after now.
Karyete: You can stay up on your high horse, continue to twist the truth and act like an absolute child all you want. I refuse to give respect to a man who right now is picking up a dropped argument because he simply cannot fathom the idea that he might be in the wrong.
Karyete: How pathetic

The Fortress Of Awesome (currently called "4tress of chan" which is a pun on 4chan, an image board. Everyone's name shows up as "Anonymous" at the moment, rather annoying. This event is almost over, and we're currently deciding on a new one.), the subforum where no rules apply. You have to be well known around here, not a complete noob, and patient to get in. Once you have access to the FoA, you also get access to the chat channel, #coa (Chat of Awesome). Anything and everything go on in there, from games of chess to silly random threads to spoof forum games to crazy polls to just utter stupidity.

tl;dr: FoA = subforum with no rules, currently "4tress of chan" where stuff is www.4chan.org

I thought that if you had a particular amount of warnings or bans, you most likely wouldn't be allowed in. :o_O:

1) It's mostly up to moderator's judgement - if you have a bad name, you obviously won't be allowed in
2) You're implying you do

No I'm not and anyway, what's the point of a subforum with no rules? A gift for some users or something like that?
