God you panic too much. O.O All that means is that the file size is too big (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Upload the file to imgur or photobucket etc instead and then link us to the file.

It actually means that all of the attachment file space we've allowed has been filled.

Actually, ultimately I`m tring to do your method on how to post an image for signatures without having to make an account in imgur or photobucket or whatever.....

I'm afraid you can't upload attachments into your sig, I also asked this question sometime a while ago and you have no choice but to upload it to photobucket or imageshack etc.

Although I haven't tested it myself, there is an alternative I think. Make a post and upload an image from your computer as an attachment and preview the post, then click on the link. Copy and paste the URL (should be a Runouw downloads url) and put it in img tags in your sig. It might work, though I've never tried it myself so i don't know for sure.

You posted the above message in this forum.made by themagikoopaguy.

This -----^

I have run a board myself, and this is what that error means. The install of PHPbb has a set limit on total uploads (though the default limit can be raised to the actual limit that PHP has). The limit could be upped, or probably more reasonably (upping the limit could slow the board down or cause other problems), a Global Moderator could go through the directory and kill any huge files, or files that are more than a certain age.

The reason I think this might be worthwhile is because this affects avatars too, if I remember correctly...

Anyways, this is a reason why linking to a photo hosting site is the recommended method.
