I think it could be a bit darker, otherwise it looks good.

What do you think? Is the style going in the right direction?

Very good.

Just a suggestion,no offense: You should add more new graphic updates more frequently.

Maybe one graphics update in the future should be put the correct images in the matching forum.

For example,in the Minecraft forum, put a picture of Minecraft there.
In the SM63 Level Portal, put a picture of a SM63 level there. What do you think?

Adding to foru's gripe about the new style, you will probably need to change a few group colors as well, particularly Honorary Members, Global Mods and Level Mods. Otherwise, the updated style looks great.

Ehh, I'm a bigger fan of black than white, so I'm not a big fan of it. Besides, I've known this forum to be dark for so long, and a new style would personally take some time to get used to.

Yeah, personally bright webpages irritate me. Facebook, Google, YouTube, they all burn retinas in the dark. But if everyone prefers something lighter, it's easy enough to find Chrome extension and tweak it myself. In terms of style, though, I like. Just not a big fan of all those pale colors.

Hmm, I'm gonna be useful and give some proper constructive criticism (and of course my opinion). :P

I kind of have to agree with many people here that I do prefer dark colours, because lighter colours do tend to hurt the eyes a bit.
But I do like that it will fit the style of the rest of the site better. For the titles of the forums you could have black or dark grey, and for the forums themselves, instead of being so light, they could have a lighter grey colour instead of being so similar to white. (personally, I think a grey colour like the category colours we have right now would work, although maybe a bit lighter) Also I don't know whether you'd want to change the rest of the site's graphics but the colour scheme could be changed to be just a little bit darker so it fits the forum front page a bit more. But that's just a personal opinion.

But really, the colours are my only complaint right now. Everything else, like font, little forum images (those white boxes that fit to the rest of the site) and the layout seems to look great for me.

...Just doing my bit. :3

It seems like a lot of people want a darker theme, from what I'm seeing it's probably because they've grown accustom to the current colors we have now. Is there any possibility of having an option to switch between a white theme and a darker theme?

Since so many people prefer a darker colors theme I've decided I'll make both a light and dark version of this theme (which is easy because I am only changing the background and text colors).

How does this look for the dark version?

What will the little icon look like when there are new posts in the forum?
