I hate to reinstate my opinion, but it must be done for the sake of getting back on topic. Just keep the RV the same for now and plan revisions for later, like MK mentioned (to my chagrin). At this point, the community generally agrees that it should stay, and we should just get it rolling as soon as we can.

I apologize for attacking MoD like that, his point just hit me in a somewhat sensitive spot.

I'll do my best to get RV rolling out soon, I'm sorry for the mess I contributed towards.

Why don't we just have a few really broad categories (best LDer, best artist, best member, best mod and such) and have 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each one?

Sounds cool. I'm not sure if I want to read the discussion/argument which seems to have taken place in the past few pages...

I think for now it would be best if you we got underway Runouw votes how it is currently done and once discussion has finished - however long that takes - we try out polls. This way, any pressure of RV is gone and we can get down to business.

Sorry about that rant, Buff. I didn't mean to blame you, or look as though I was blaming you.
I just got angry. I'm not going to delete my post or the bit in spoilers, because it would be a lie, and make it look as though I'm a perfectly happy, neutral person.

I think it would be best if I didn't really get involved with RV this term. I wanna see what the community can do, rather than what a biased global moderator is expected to do (aka me).

guys, im going to have to suggest we shut down the votes until we understand a bit more about one another...because all that anger scared me from wanting to post ever again. until we have a better understanding of one another and can fix problems socially, emotionally, real life, and sitewide……i think the votes need to go on hiatus. there has been a big ♥♥♥♥ brewing here for months....and we need to fix that.

thats my take. no votes, and we all need to make up. okay? because this is ridiculous...us fighting....

I thought we ended the fighting already. I think it's mostly over already. Apologies I dunno. But the actual fighting appears to have ended. I'm still pretty much unbiased towards RV either way since I've never interacted with it to begin with. But, I can see where you're coming from. RV should be postponed for now.

I have to say, it's really weird to be the voice of reason.

Shade, the reason was pretty much me. The anger didn't escalate until I posted. I'm just burnt out, which is exactly why I'm taking a mod break. The rest of the site is fine, I'm pretty sure it's just me here who's got the problem.
