From what I remember, the reason there used to be moderators in charge is because this stuff. Fifty different people arguing fifty different viewpoints with no one wanting to make up their mind, compromise or clear things up. So God created moderators, highly regarded members who people could trust to moderate others in discussion, as well as be trusted enough to make decisions on their own. That's what moderators do. Of course, that all gets compromised when people vehemently attack the mods for doing their job. Whereas some people claim there's not enough power to the users, others claim it's just fine, but either way, ♥♥♥♥ the mods. Then who the ♥♥♥♥ are the moderators gonna moderate? Themselves? We are not the Capitol. We are not the 1%. We are normal users that have been entrusted to do the jobs that have been given to us. You guys had input in how things went; even when we didn't directly ask, we observed how others acted, how others responded to people, and the dynamic of things in their rawest form. We aren't perfect, and yes, there are better ways that we can do their jobs. But when's the last time things went well when we all ganged up on the mods? I can name three bad examples. So yeah, I am always going to take this ♥♥♥♥ seriously and personally.

have to disagree there. ive got a ♥♥♥♥ temper and a big ego when i feel my viewpoints are threatened, and a sense of heroism when things go bad for others. and ive heard the background of some and seen the flaws of multiple others on here. we are all at equal fault, with no one who is more to blame.

what we need to do before starting up any more contests is find every problem with the site, memberbase, and our individual selves and tackle them. some have been pointed out and solutions have been proposed, but what we need to do is reorganize ourselves and our community. some egos need to be toned down, some need to mature, some need help with real life problems...but we all need to fix things.

i understand the users only have certain limits to power, but the modbase has its flaws too.we need to cooperate more regardless of rank or age or stereotype, or even the hatred to one another and for the love of christ fix things.

i spent my whole summer working with myself and my friends to repair flaws and weaknesses...and if needed ill step up and do the same here if no one else besides mods is willing. and ill point out individual flaws if i have to if it gets things moving in the name of healing.

we are a family. families help each other and support ne another regardless the project or dislikes. i honestly dont give a damn if you hate someone here...because frankly i hold a vendetta to a select few of you. that doesnt stop me from loving you all as my online family though, does it?

Are you guys still sore about this? Seriously? Despite my lack of actual power I decided to end this fighting. By some miracle that seemed to have worked. Are you going to make my efforts worthless by bringing this up again? Isn't there already a topic where you guys complained about the lack of power for the regular users? I thought this topic was to talk about Runouw Votes, suggest ways to improve it, etc. Seriously, don't restart this. If you're going to be sore about it, please do it somewhere else. No one person is responsible here. When somebody starts a fight, it's that person's fault for starting it. However, it's the fault of the second person for continuing it. I thought this fight ended already. Why are you guys continuing it? We've gotten way off topic by ranting about the power balance. Can't we just stop now? I'm not sure who should be apologizing to who, but make up, get over it, and let this topic die. Unless we get back on topic, then please, for the sake of everybody, let this thread die.
