I'd already using it if it'd be as easy as that, Tsu. : P
It's somehow related to my username change, I think.
But Suyo will rescue me... Right?

* Chat session open in another tab.
Does it say that? It doesn't mean you have to open it in another tab, it means it's open in another tab (which I assume it's not for you.)
Click the reset link i posted in my last post or try a hard reset by pressing ctrl + f5, suyo told me to do these and it worked, not sure on safari though. (if you use chrome, press ctrl + shift + c then rightclick the reload button and click hard reset) also disable adblock if you have it for all of runouw because runouw deserves the change
don't know if this'll help you guys but it helped me

Well I've tried everything suggested so far and nothing has worked, I'm still getting that message:
* Chat session open in another tab.
I am using Chrome now, but when I first posted I was using Safari because I wasn't on my laptop. Both times I got this message pop up. Maybe it is just because IRC clients are blocked on my router (except for Mibbit, strangely enough).

First time I saw the chat today an hour ago (using Chrome), it worked for about a minute and then started giving me the "open in another tab" thing. I'm almost positive there are no restrictions or anything on my router. Mibbit works perfectly fine.

Awesome!
How about putting this topic in the "News" section (on the top, below the Runouw banner) and the redirecting page for the "Chat" button in the top-right?

I've gotten "ERROR 451" in a pop-up a few times, and then the userlist doesn't show up. Also, the chat seems to be in a separate scrollbox than the rest of the page. I'm not sure how to describe it.
Other than that, looks pretty good so far.

Whoa, you guys blew through the account limit I set in just one day. I'm right now increasing it to three times the number, and I'm also investigating the crashes during the night. For those who just recently signed up and thus went past the limit, you should be able to join in about half an hour.
EDIT: Okay, I just removed the authentication module. It's been having even more problems than usual, so now, it's an open IRC server - that means no account limit, no password at the end of the name. To get the on-site chat, you still need to activate your account, though.

http://greencouchgames.net/sitechat/reset.php edit: not needed anymore - multitab onsite chat is now possible

I seem to still be getting the 'Please wait...' message, both on Chrome and IE. (I haven't tried it on Safari yet)
I clicked on the 'Join chat with IRC client link' and it said my account had been activated (except I'm not going to use an IRC client) but it still isn't working on-site for some reason. I hope it's nothing to do with the fact IRC clients are blocked on my router because I would just chat on-site.

Iiiiiiiincomingggggg
- NEW: channels (lower right, you can /join others)
- NEW: smoother scrolling
- FIX: background being weird
- FIX: jumping back to top of the site... on some browsers. Don't know why it works on some, and not on others.
- FIX: changed backend a bit... maybe it helps the users who are stuck at "Please wait..."? Purge your cache, delete your cookies and give it a try
