Mild rulebreaking, reregistering, causing drama after being allowed back, starting more fights, finally getting permabanned, reregistering again, reregistering again and threatening to hack people, and now, reregistering again.

Because you are both. Also how is the ban system broken if you're on a brand new account that clearly hasn't been banned before?

Just saying, we were all pompous assheads who threatened to hack or tried to make people think we knew ♥♥♥♥ we didn't ages ago. I thought I had to hack into the computer to fix a forum post once.

Mild rulebreaking seems a bit too mild for a ban though, but meh, it was in the past.

Dude hasn't come back in years, hasn't done anything that makes him Public Enemy #1, hasn't made attempts before this to reregister. I'd say give him another chance. Plus, he's not doing anything bad, he's telling us what's wrong with the system. That's like shooting a citizen in the head for telling a cop something is wrong with traffic...sort of.

I think you maybe a little behind in life.

People like Killswitch got second chances and got over themselves and became good, law-abiding citizens.

People like TrappedTime got second chances and then eventually caused more drama, infighting, and got perma'd again. And then reregistered even further, threatening more banning and terrorizing of the forums.

DIFFERENCE

When I say "hasn't done anything that makes him Public Enemy #1, hasn't made attempts before this to reregister", I mean he hasn't done anything after the last rereg, which was...three years ago? November 2011. He hasn't attempted to hack, hasn't threatened, hasn't rereg'd.

TT got unbanned ages ago as a second chance, got banned for a week for abusing the reputation system(back when you could thumb posts up and down) as three users(I get what you mean though), and then permabanned in June. He rereg'd in July, then in November, both times perma'd.

He's only rereg'd this one time to give you guys a heads-up in case there may be a problem with the system. He's not attacking, not flaming, not abusing anything, just alerting us to a possible problem in the system.

Regardless, not my decision what goes on from here. I'm just saying: he hasn't called anyone out (yet), so there's really no need to jump the gun. Fix the problem, and if you guys want to let him back, let him back. If not, don't. But still, I think you guys are overreacting thinking he's going to drop a nuke. This isn't the 50's guys, Soviets aren't going to rape our women. Just take what he says, see if it's true and if there is error, fix it if there is, then decide outcome.

i find it mildly amusing how he comes in, says "your system is bork, fix"
then he gets ♥♥♥♥ that's entirely irrelevant

...he's kind of deliberately taunting us and deliberately breaking the rules.
