yes, the staff decided to chat ban you after you broke chat rules several times, were told to stop several times, and then continued to break the rules

Hello friends you may know me from the discord chat where I sometimes say words. Recently, some of the words said were about channels and other miscellaneous stuff, so I'm gonna outline them here. Maybe they'll be put into a poll or something but they're good ideas all the same, and it'd be a shame if nothing ever happened with them.



EDIT: Now revised again. Runouw's still all for keeping the LL and Runouw communities separate. It's unfortunate but not really unexpected.

• New Announcements channel for rules, events, information, and other community-affiliated servers
• Runouw, 2nouw, and Staff channels likely remain the same
• New "Creative Corner" channel (courtesy of Doram) for stuff we make in the way of art, music, writing, level designing, etc- could possibly assimilate/rename Gamecollab
• New "Fanboy Land" channel (also courtesy of Doram) for media we didn't make in the way of art, music, writing, television, etc- could possibly assimilate/rename one or more of Stevenuniverse, SUleaks, and Bookclub
• Terraria becomes Gaming, a general purpose gaming channel
• Music becomes a general purpose "Video Parade" and/or spam channel (this is why Doram's spearheading the community, guys) for youtube and stuff that would otherwise spam other channels.
• Some miscellaneous stuff: Gamecollab is getting a lot of indifference/votes for removal, and SUleaks is a hotly contested topic, Stevenuniverse may be big enough to deserve its own channel

Tried to unify the ideas from yesterday into a more cohesive post. This list would put us at 8 channels, contrasted with our current 9 (counting hidden channels in both). Also tried to keep as many logs from getting deleted as possible by renaming existing channels to suit more generalized purposes.

Alternately, convert it [Bookclub] to a general purpose reading and writing hangout.

That's what the channel already is. If you want to rename it then go ahead but don't delete it

Alternately, combine the Bookclub and Music channels into a general purpose arts hub.

General art+books maybe if there's for some reason push against separate general art + general books channels, but DEFINITELY keep music-sharing separate from both of those--there's a ton of activity in that channel and most of it tends to flood the chat (since people usually just post videos)

No, I'm fine keeping SULeaks because SU is a show that's pretty popular in this community and it also happens to be a show that gets its episodes leaked early on a fairly regular basis, where spoilers actually matter. A "general spoilers" channel, as raz said, would really easily result in people getting spoiled for different stuff that they didn't want to get spoiled for when they went to discuss a particular show. But people haven't expressed any interest in discussing spoilers for other shows, so... there's no reason to create a general spoilers channel in the first place, and if people do, then yes DMs are fine, or we can create new channels/roles for those particular shows--I just like having the Runouw discussion for shows kept on the Runouw server instead of separating everything into 30 separate servers/DMs

Possibly add a new Roleplay/RPG channel. Although Bowser already has an entire server dedicated to this purpose, so it might be redundant.

Add a link to Bowser's server in #Announcements (whenever that gets created), since it's already more established and probably more functional than what we could try to set up on Runouw with only a single text channel dedicated to it
