It's still a work in progress at the moment, but hopefully we'll have all the bugs worked out soon. You can connect and chat with anyone on a downloadable IRC client or a browser client (see the front page for instructions on how to do that) or the link above, just enter your name and you're good to go. I have waited for this for so long

If you don't like the theme you can change it by clicking the cogs on the top right, btw. (along with a bunch of other nifty things)
And then there's a little file uploader thing on the bottom right for pictures. I'm not sure how useful that is but it seems like it could come in use.

Oh and lastly, yes, there will be users from our sister site, Project Diva, occassionally spamming the chat with leaves and joins. Just deal with it or disable leave/join messages all together. It's really not that frequent anymore and you get used to it.

I have no idea if the problem is with Suyo's IRC server, Kiwi, or what... I will look into it, but I don't promise a solution anytime soon.

This is a problem with Suyo's server. Usually people get banned for having too many instances open and it unbans them after a few hours, dunno why CY is still banned. (suyo can't fix this)

I'm curious how easy this was to implement. But hey, we're making some splendid progress, guys. Keep it up, Doram! Hell, get a job doing some of this ♥♥♥♥

It was easier than I thought it would be, mostly because Kiwi did a bunch of work for me, and made a widget. Other than that, it was mostly figuring out where all the files were, so that I could edit them, and putting it all together within the phpBB framework.

And as for the job: Ah, if only I could...

The only thing I feel is missing from the new chat is just a notification thing. Like if I'm using multiple tabs, I'd like something to pop up in the chat tab just so I can see if someone has mentioned my name or said something etc. That's the one thing I did like about Mibbit, among all the horrible things about it too lol.
