If you feel that a post does not contribute to a thread at all, hit that shiny report button. Image

If you're on the fence, hit that shiny report button to check if anyone else has.

Opinions aren't against the rules, but inappropriate bumps and backseat moderation are.

Thanks for your time.

When I've seen the title, I've rather expected something like "please don't report posts too often", because it looks like many reports of mine are ignored away, I'm already starting to think if I keep bothering the staff with my reports, it will come back like a boomerang and give me a warning.

If the staff is bothered, maybe I myself should be a lemod (because I really think if a report is fit or not)

Well, maybe sometimes they ignore your reports because there is not necessity at all, but I highly doubt they ignore your reports and get annoyed about them.

Also, am 100% aggreing with this post. Reports should be made more often.

Well, there's a difference between reading it and deciding there is nothing that can or should be done, and completely not reading/ignoring it (and I doubt they are being ignored). Also, sometimes the solutions might be subtle or silent, so something HAS been done, but you can't see it.

In other words, keep reporting what you think should be reported. If they have an issue with the number coming from one person, a mod will talk to you before it even gets to the point of a warning.

I've rather thought of my name having an influence on whether the report is successful or not. This especially refers to earlier conflicts, where I've reported posts not only for continuing the conflict, but also for being really offensive or destructive. These conflicts belong to the past so please don't bring them back up here in any way. I've already made commitments for myself so I hope they'll never happen to that extent.

I just want to enforce the rules, and I don't think I enforce them too much.

Don't worry, All of your reports have been read, and taken in consideration. In fact, one user has already been warned thanks to your reports (you probably know who I'm talking about).

Just remember to aways recheck what you are reporting, and if the post is truly that bad/offensive before doing something. Because if the post don't deserve the report, then nothing will be done at all.

You don't need a colourful name to be able to report things and make a difference. :3

You won't get a random warning out of nowhere for reporting too often, if it really was a problem I or someone else would PM you to stop first. In the past I have just left the reports to a level mod usually because it's not really there for me to take care of, but you should know that unless a level is extremely buggy, has extreme lag and loading time that could pose a threat to someone's computer (and there is no justifiable reason for that lag/loading time, like, the level is of poor quality), then most of the time any levels of any quality have a right to go through.

Moderating levels isn't about what you think is or isn't good enough to be posted. We all started somewhere in designing, they came here to learn and to share, they are not going to learn if their levels are just deleted completely for not being good enough by someone else's subjective standards.

Thanks all, guys. As I see you're dealing with that guy, I guess I can recall my pending membership for the moment, which I mostly did because of him, but of course I wouldn't be against being a lemod ;)

... gah doesn't work but whatevs

EDIT: To be honest, that was a try to kill two birds with one stone. I'm outing myself that being a lemod is my great goal here, greater than winning LDC's. If I wouldn't think I would suit the position, I wouldn't have applied, but does somebody think I wouldn't suit it? Is my attitude still so bad? I'm not urging however, as the current team is well-staffed, at the latest with FrozenFire, I guess all I have to do is wait and be a good member
and site rep wouldn't be less awesome
