I don't like the transparent rows or the diagonal gradient from a graphic design standpoint. Maybe if the gradient was just the top corner, but right now my eye keeps automatically going down the blue line and that's not how we want the information to be read.

Really, I'm still all for a pretty much brand new layout with thinner rows, post bodies etc. Then we can use the sides for miscellaneous elements, like sitewide polls, important ongoing events, and stuff like that instead of relying on the header and for users to actually check announcements. Those could maybe have text boxes with some transparency.

This is the Aero theme(I fixed the white text issue)

Created a list with the current themes, hope I am being helpful.

My favourite one by far.

Only issue is that the icon for a "hot" topic is swapped with the icon for a locked thread. Otherwise that's pretty 10/10, I'll stop trying now

To me, it's a better step in the right direction compared to the other ones despite it being mostly temporary.

oh, I can't see the texts.

That's a pretty easy fix.


Also, the thread icons are naturally grainy. They were more or less gifs that were compressed to a very small size while keeping quality. That resulted in some nasty grey pixels. Easy to change in stylish, but you have to make your own and know what each selector is.

Sorry, didn't check every page to see if it has different text colour.
Updated it. If you spot any other pages, tell me. I may need to change more text colours of some elements that I missed.

Checked, only "topic_hot_unread_mine" was swapped with locked, otherwise it's a normal thread. Cannot find a good icon style for the hot topics, both flames and the torch from RO look horrible. I thought of using a star or something, but for now it's just normal. If you guys get any ideas, tell me.

Grainy as in pixellated? The background doesn't look different at all from LL's site so it's its fault. There are a few icons that could be fixed too btw.
