There always seems to be too many bots on this site, especially when I scroll down and see "5 registered users online". Excited, I see who is online....Yahoo! [bot]
Google [bot]
Bing [bot]
Google Adsense [bot]
and purpleyoshi98. I wish they weren't counted as registered, just given their own section.

It's fine if there are many bots on the site because due to their crawling activity the site is becoming more prominent, isn't it?
What has annoyed me indeed sometimes is a mass of spambot accounts with names such as "RunnyBroargy" etc. but that was a longer time ago.

They're the search engines of those who use the site, and those who search for the site. They do no harm at all, and are what manages what ads are displayed on the bottom. Without the ads, we wouldn't have a site.
