Also seemingly only happens to you.

Happens regardless of device, where I am, what type of PC or device, what service, what connection I may have, etc. So it really isn't tethered clientside, but seems more based on server.

It happens to me as well, but only when my internet is having issues. Aside from that, it rarely occurs.

Is there any chance we could have an adult-oriented forum for the more mature members? Just 'cause.

I thought that was what Serious Discussion was for. I have had many very adult conversations in there. Can you be more specific than "adult-oriented"?
Because the only thing I can think of is if you're referring to sexy time, and I am pretty sure that is nothing that Runouw wants around here. We've always been kid-friendly, and no amount of hiding sexy time is OK for anything considered kid-friendly.

And on the topic of the post-form fails, I don't even write it in the forum at all for long stuff, I just do it in Word or Notepad first, then copy it over. If I have any BBCode I'm working in, I test it at the first paste, and if it fails while tweaking that, all I lost is the BBCode. Also, the back button on my browser has kept my text the few times it has kakked on me, and I'm using Firefox. What browser are you using?

Not necessarily sex-oriented discussions, more like more serious discussions, I guess. But yeah, I can see the point you are driving home.

Anywho, as for the post fails, I use a Kindle Paperwhite, and Comodo Dragon, mostly. The former has no other way, and you cannot copy or paste text

I gots the purfect idea for android/apple users, how about a runouw app? It could help prevent the "could not load" page errors if you are using a mobile device, and I just think it would be better if I was notified when someone replied to a topic you posted on.

Ah... Mobile Runouw. Lovely idea... Thankfully, one we have already had...

An app wouldn't be a bad idea, but it would be a major undertaking, and possibly one that we wouldn't have to take on ourselves. The forums uses phpBB3 as a codebase, so there might be an add-on or something that will do the trick, perhaps setting up an RSS Feed is possible as well, or as an alternative. There's lots of possibilities, but I agree that making sure the site works properly on mobile is important.

In all honesty, it is something that has been occasionally worked on but mostly on the back burner for a while, since before Suyo left, and we are aware of it. There is the Forum Mobile Style Sheet for example, and that works for some people. It needs a bit more work, and there are other opportunities, but there's a bunch of other more pressing stuff we are working on right now, especially as we take over all of Suyo's projects. We are also thinking about how we can manage getting more programmers, in order to take on some of the more technical possibilities, but we're not quite ready to take care of that just yet.

And everybody else that's reading, don't forget to keep an eye on the Trello Checklist to see what we're working on, and how far we've gotten.
