I think posts don't count in off-topic because posts there can be as random and pointless as you want them to be. Your actual postcount should signify how many proper posts you've made.

We could always move threads that are actually valuable for discussion into Serious Discussion (which is why several people have suggested that the Personality thread should be moved there). For other things like random chains of serious posts in Things That You Want To Say, there's not much we can do, I guess. If there's someone you think should have its own thread, then go make one, but otherwise I don't think we're planning on enabling thumbs up or postcount there.

For the first one, that's not really necessary. It's just a fun chat thing and isn't really relevant on the forums. You can always use [rp] if you really feel the need to talk about yourself in the third person.

As for email, that's kind of private information that we probably don't need to share with everyone on the forums. Besides, if you do want to give people your email address, you could just type it out, or use a mailto: link with [url=].

When I request a twitter change on editing my profile, it'll send a message to Suyo requesting the change or set up. The problem is I really haven't seen Suyo online in a while, and judging from his name color, he doesn't seem to be a mod anymore. Do I need to request the change to one of the mods or global mods on here rather than Suyo, or is he still able to set up twitter names on other people's profiles? Or is the twitter thing just not working right?
