Razzia medals were added to the list and afaik every medal that's not possible to obtain is there.

Re: Update the Medals page.

Well, the way the Razzian medals were added, and the way the RO medals were added was completely different. The Razzian medals, I forced into both the file system and the database. Maybe phpBB thought they were normal medals. The RO medals were just placed in the file system by me, but then the regular phpBB function to add medals was used by Amp to put them into the database, so they've been properly marked as special medals. We'll see what we can do, but as has been mentioned my access to really dig my fingers into things is a bit limited for right now, and this falls into that category.

I thought of maybe adding a tag feature for forums such as Stories and Serious Discussion.

Now I'm starting to consider looking into phpbb limitations to get an idea of what we can and can't do.

Well, Topic Icons already exist, though they're not very useful and only seem to be enabled in certain subforums. I was able to use them in the RO subforum, like this:
Image
...but I can't figure out how to use them anywhere else, so I don't know. They appear floating over the topic image, like so:
Image
...so editing them to contain words isn't really an option unless we can smush the words down to a really tiny space. However, I have seen forums that use thread tags, so it could potentially be a thing.

Alternatively, we could just have a mandatory title tagging system if we really want to. But I think the subforums within Stories exist for a reason, and Serious Discussion threads are generally pretty self-explanatory. So I don't know. I guess it would be cool to filter stuff by tag, though.

The topic icons are an option in the forum settings. They are turned off most everywhere. I turned them on in the RO just for fun. Are we interested in turning them on in other areas?

EDIT: Ok, let's vote on it then.

I can't think of a reason not to. What harm would they do?

Ok, there's a poll up there on it now. I can't think of an argument against. I wasn't here when it was decided to turn them off, so I can't shed any light on that myself. Anyone else have a reason to NOT turn them on?

Ok, adding/changing icons can be a task for another day. My question is turning them on. :P
