That's what I was thinking. Plus, there's so little activity in that Pokemon forum anyway right?

About people thinking there are too many stickies in Site Discussion and elsewhere - can we please unsticky Crash Reports and Nominating Cookies? For the latter we can leave a note in the FAQ, once we take care of that.

And quite many stickies have been removed in Last Legacy Level Designer - well, okay, but the Trigger Guide would deserve to stay stickied ...

Thank you, FF.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

Crash reports is pretty important, despite being infrequent. I agree with the latter though, but there's only too many stickies because of most of it is stuff that should be temporary that we haven't done yet. (etc. FAQ suggestions, Forum Header Re-arrange, and this thread which I just instickied.)
Supershroom wrote:And quite many stickies have been removed in Last Legacy Level Designer - well, okay, but the Trigger Guide would deserve to stay stickied ...

No, They haven't. Literally the only thing I unstickied was contest theme suggestions.
A better thing to say would be "There are too many threads deserving of stickies not stickied."

Crash Reports is stickied because it's an important thread. If the site goes down or crashes for any reason, that's the place for it to be reported and documented publicly. Granted, it hasn't seen much activity recently, but it's still not something that's going to be unstickied.

I agree that Nominating Cookies should be in the FAQ. Post it in the FAQ Suggestions thread.

Idk why so many things aren't stickied in the LL LD subforum. Maybe the Trigger Guide wasn't up to date with Null Space, or it was relocated to the Wiki? Not sure. But in any case, things like the Complete ID List For Everything, Designer Tips and Tricks, and an updated Trigger Guide should probably all be stickied, or we could at least make a thread with important links to things of the sort on both the forums and the wiki.

edit: Thanks raz

Even now I still use the Complete ID List For Everything, that needs to be stickied. A lot of people get put off because of not knowing how triggers work, so the guide should be stickied as well.

Looks like Raz just stickied a bunch of stuff there, so that's done. Also, I just separated all of the LL Series out of LL Collections and moved the threads.

Anyway please unexist pokemon thanks

@OJ, I know it was complete and utter ♥♥♥♥. I was half sarcastic, and half just exhausted with this whole process. Ok. Dumped into Nintendo it is.

I AM capable of sarcasm occasionally...

It's a little hard to tell that you're being sarcastic when you're posting in a serious thread in which you had previously posted serious things. Sorry.

I do apologize. I've been under some intense stress of late.

We are truly all agreed to de-organize Stories, and organize Graveyard? I don't really like either idea much, but if you guys are sure, I'll just do it.

Last chance to say "No, let's talk more."

Well, so now I'll concretize my pro arguments for putting the Graveyard on Index.

  • The numbers of views are still increasing, more than in other subforums. I'm not the only one being nostalgic at times or needing it for statistics research, and probably many members still want to read our past events and accomplishments.
  • The Graveyard itself has very few to do with Site Discussion. The number of posts in Site Discussion is quite irritating, as almost 75% of all posts are in the Graveyard. The description of Site Discussion implies nowhere that it hides an Archive. In my early days I was very confused why I couldn't find past LDCs in the Level Designer subforum until I found it by accident (when I started exploring the rest, but still)
  • Those wanting to keep the index small - we already have saved about five subforums on it. Flash Player Showcase is gone, two LL general subforums are gone, and three LDing-related subforums are merged into one. If you don't want to list it in Main, list it by its own.

Raz wrote:I want to reduce the overall length of all the stickies by having a masterthread that take the purpose of all of these threads eventually.

One thread only would be too large for all of this. Separate it into rules and guides (how to submit, how to save) into one thread (mine actually) and the designing tutorials (tricks, bugs to watch out etc.) into another (or overhaul the respective pages on the Wiki), and graveyard Suyo's old level posting rules once it's done.
