The Level Mods are called LEVEL MODS for a reason, y'know.

They moderate levels. They don't moderate Super Mario 63 in General.

Thus, the mod powahz in "General" aren't necessary. Just proves to be more work for the LDMs, in the end, which can prove to be a real pain above all that Level moderation, aye?

And as for the glitchy chat... yeah, it's a real pain in the neck, I know. The only way to avoid it though is to completely change it, from what I understand. Once you get your head around it though, it's quite simple. Don't rapidly delete messages. Delete one, wait, and delete the next, wait, etc. It takes time to register the deletion (new word?).

With so many staff now, it's rare that none of us are on. We shouldn't create new staff members solely for the occasional short period of time in which nobody's on; we should create new staff positions if they are necessary, which right now they aren't.

Niklaw makes some good points, though I will say that I ultimately don't think that if we were given mod powers in the General forum, which I don't necessarily believe we need to or should have, it would not be much more work than what we already have, especially now that we have a mass delete function for levels. That said, if the higher-level mods do not feel overwhelmed dealing with the general forum, there's no good reason why the Level Mods should deal with it. Oh, and deletion is a widely accepted word that can be found in any dictionary. Sorry mate…you're gonna need to come up with a better one that that. :P

Why do we need more members in each group if currently we're not overwhelmed?

Ok... lets start something else off :awe:

Group: Old members (or some better name)
Description: Those who were on the old forum are invited and stuffs.

This is really only since I suggested it in the first post and no one actually did anything. <_<

If chat mods do get created, I think those chosen as Level mods should be given the job. Mostly because......................

A- Chat mods need to have good grammar and and spellling, so as to enforce that "Don't act stupid" rule that the chat-texters do when they type
B- We are usually on the chat 24/7 and see almost all.............Well, mainly me, since I love staying up late. o_O
C- We are almost never involved in flame wars, and if we are, we are the fighters who try to end the fight early.
D- blah blah blah blah We get the job done blah blah blah blah blah
E- The chat mod also needs a good sense of humor! No one wants a mod that just sits around and doesn't like it when members goof off. The chat mod needs to know what is a joke and what is an insult.

That's all I got.

A - Yes, but others have that too.
B - .. mebbe. There's always that gap, although since its HOLIDAIZ in teh USA, and you all are American, it should be fine... ish.
C - Hehe *begins to speak, then shuts up* You all know why ;)
D - Mebbe, still others are perfectly capable.
E - <_< Yes, but as I've said before, others can do it.

I would bring in an F, saying something like less people in the team... even though I'm completely for chat mods. Less work all round. :D
