Well, they just say "Safe from bump" that mean he want to bump his topic to the top without any effort or pain.
No pain, no gain. "That thing is 100% very very unnecessary, just say nothing and "Save" the topic and make it "Safe". Suyo said if the topic dead, just let it die, don't bump it.

Well, the topic could go back a page due to a sudden burst of topics, and since nobody go's to the second page (They know they would bump if they posted) then it would be forgotten but people would still wanna post.

Nah, you can! But you can't just say "Save from bump", it is unnessercary, you need to make a nessercary bump like making some levels, new art, VERY nessercary comment or askings.
