Again, just because one person is ignorant doesn't mean everyone wants you to be demoted, nor does it give you the right to accuse that. If anything, we should be the ones insulted for you accusing us of that. And of all people, you really accuse fourinone as trying to bring up your past?

MOY, here's the thing. When one person says you're wrong, it doesn't mean everyone says you're wrong. And the best you can do yourself is stop thinking otherwise.

Well, the truth is, I only ever see people do that by me. it's like saying "Hey, a while back, you started a flame war, so that's all you're good at!" It affects me trying to be a chat mod, so I may just demote myself...

What about last night? You accused me of trying to start a flame war (I think) and, although there was tension, we both kept calm throughout the evening. Therefor, there was no significant sign that either of us would start.

But yeah, this'll be a good rule.

A person is only a water drop in this site's ocean, but why people take that as a global flame war?

Can we stop acting like this is a pity party we have to derail? I stated 2 facts. 1. I wanted a new rule and 2. I may stop being a chat mod. Although I would be insulting the mods if I did THAT. So I will stay a mod I guess... And let us get back on topic.

fourinone isn't stating you're going to start a flame war, he's simply stopping a problem for occuring before it happens.

This is my intention exactly. I never try to accuse you or anyone else of starting a flame war; rather, if I see tensions starting to brew, I try to urge us not to veer off into that direction. It's just that you seem to interpret this in another way...

I wonder if I'm not phrasing it in the right way... When I say "Let's not start a flame war now!", I mean to say that in a friendly (maybe sometimes slightly joking) tone, not a harsh, upbraiding tone or a mocking tone. So yeah, I'm sorry for any possible miscommunication... o_O

I see where you're coming from, though. You've been banned once for participating in a flame war, and you think that people are warning you not to get into another flame war because of your previous offense. Well, trust me when I say that whenever I say stuff like that, I'm doing so regardless of anything you've done before. In fact, most of the time, I forget that you've ever been banned. o_O That's also why I almost never give warnings or post in the ban log. I don't CARE if someone's done something in the past; if he's good in the present, then we're gold! (I mean, look at Blablob. : P )

Well, I think so, sometime they felt angry unfairly and craily then says people's past's fault (He mean it is falut.) and started to blaming everyone, I tell him to stop, but, he dosen't he always kept "serious" and blaming.

Anyhow, on the one hand, rule can't hurt. On the other hand, we should be above needing this rule peoples. (By the way, peoples actually means everybody, not just you MOY…just want to make that clear.) We shouldn't need this rule. If we do, then shame on us. We should be better than that. But if y'all think we need it, as I said, it can't hurt.

If you started getting angry at an old rival at school, and your mate sensed a potentional fight occuring, and thus broke it before it happened... would you actually be insulted? I think four was doing his job and doing it well.

That's the thing though. In this type of situation, we're not trying to stop a flame war. We're trying to stop a flame war from occuring (you know, so we don't have to hand out some warnings....and stuffz)

But MOY, you can't relate every thing someone says to you (even if it's not directed specifically at you) to what you've done in the past. As four stated, look at me. You think if I get in a flame war with Linkdroid that four would say "Hey! Stop flaming, Blablob! You used be a stupid member who spammed with retarded comments and grammar, so stop flaming or permaBAAAAAAAN!"

Okay, maybe they'll be less dramatic than that. Still, you get my point. Nobody means it in that way. You're a good member. MOY. Let that be coming from the guy who used to be a spammer but changed who he was when he learned he had a purpose here. Don't take things the wrong way, and don't let people with a bad attitude give you a bad attitude.
