Oh my god, I completely forgot I posted a message regarding me retiring in a topic. This sucks. I didn't want any publication at all, and being the fool I am, I went ahead and posted that, and didn't even delete it.

I am truly and utterly sorry, MOD. But almost as soon as I posted that message, I went to the chat, and had a little talk with Suyo and Blab.

The other night... when I was talking to them, we pretty much decided that Blablob would take the role. It was a really, really, REALLY close toss-up between the two of you, and in the end, Blablob was online, willing, and It was done and dusted. I've already sent a message to Runouw in regards to that matter, too. But now I see your speech, MOD, and I feel very bad. I'm not going to say we made the wrong choice, because either one of you would be superb for the job, but I do feel horrible, because you really did want this, I know now.

Superyoshi, Runouw... I think it's about time there was a second moderator, at least. MOD really does deserve such a role, and I'll be damned if he doesn't get one before I leave for good. Hell, I'll send the message to the big R now.

I hope moderator role is good enough, MOD. I'm so sorry you missed out on being GM, but this is all that's in my power now. I really am truly sorry.

Just to make sure this doesn't come across as offensive to Blab in any way, that's not to say I'm disappointed with our selection for Global Mod, though! Blablob is an exceptional member, and I'm sure he'll do great.

Offensive? Pfft....I feel honered! One of my best friends becoming Moderator, and me perhaps become Global Moderator....it's a really big deal, and even if MOY doesn't get the high and mighty job he longed for, it is truly a big deal. I can only hope Runouw trusts us with such abilities. I'm glad to hear MOY is getting the kind of respect he deserves. If he's willing to put the past behind him, I figure he'd make a great Moderator. And as for me, being Global Mod....well, we'll just see how things turn out, aye?

Also, Nik, I think you better double-check that PM you sent Runouw because he said he didn't get anything.

The week I go away, all the good stuff happens, and seeing as I am hardly gonna be on for the next two weeks (I think anyway), I won't see much either.

So congrats to whoever is doing what cos I honestly can't be bothered to go through this topic at the minute (I believe blab has the pleasure) and whatnot. So yeah...

I know as a relative newcomer, and having no modlike status, I don't need to be a part of this, but I do want to poke my head in, especially with MoD calling me his mentor. (Awww, thanks MoD. I'm honored. And, no need to stalk, nin10mode, I posted the whole thing in your Our Mistakes thread, since it seemed to apply. Anyone else confused, see my post here.)

Nik, I don't think you need to panic about the way things turned out. I've talked to MoD a lot about the way he handles things, and I am sure that there will be no problem. Plus, there can still be further conversation of advancing MoD if Runouw agrees that he is ready. As previously mentioned, you guys aren't getting paid for this, so the only real limiter is maturity level and ability to put in the time, both of which MoD can prove when given the chance.

I am personally happy to hear that Blab has been given the opportunity to advance. I have come to respect him as well, and I wish him the best of luck.
