Things we desperately need to keep the chat clean:



- The right to choose how long to ban by putting LENGTH: after it and giving us a choice of whether to IP ban, permaban, or minor ban a user from the chat
- Give Level mods the right to give a user a chat warning
- Give level mods the ability to compare IPs




Also, IP ban GlAdOs, GlAdOsclone, and gladosclone3. Then compare those IPs with shanedawnson.

Turns out our pal supermario68 decided he had had enough of seeing us fight and stuff and wanted to direct our anger to a "spammer" to help us vent. This goes along with the plan I told the mods about.

Perfect. Needed somewhere to say this.

Two things. 1) The fact that most who were there agreed that sm68 really helped us relieve our anger was really, really sad. Congrats everyone. We are so insecure that we needed someone to reregister six times and spam so that we could get over our anger and whatever else was flying about. 2) Who is sm68 to do that? Who is any one of us to do that? Only if something like that was orchestrated by the mods would I be OK with it. He still broke the reregistering rule without permission…but because he did us all a "public service" we should just let him off the hook for reregistering six times?

Then SM68 proceeded to attempt to provoke me into a fight when I initially expressed my thoughts above in chat. The best example of this was the following quote:

And then people turn around and tell him it's okay? Well, I see that the site hired a few moderators that weren't ready for the job.



EDIT: I saw the conversation between SM68 and MIC......and I have to say........ I can't see why anybody's defending SM68.

What exactly resulted from this? The entire forums ends up yelling at one kid for being such a moron? What exactly did that accomplish? You can say you had anger you had to let out, but really. If you were smart you would realize anger isn't the answer.

Wait, the spammer all along was supermario68, not some childish spammer who called himself Glados? And the reason he did it was so we could vent all our anger at a rereging spammer? Well, he made me angry, and I wasn't angry when I started chatting, so he may have succeeded in making people vent away all of their anger, but he got more people angry.

Personally, the guy was trying to help. He didn't rereg maliciously. So I think if "Good" users are allowed to get away with it, even if just to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, than a "Not worthy enough" user should be able to rereg trying to help and not get treated like he should eat ♥♥♥♥ and die. You guys are all being favortistic nazis who drive away all potential good users just cause they're not "beloved" enough. It's ♥♥♥♥ infuriating. And everyone does it. MIC, Blablob, Superyoshi included.

Mm hmm. I'm proud to say that I drove away a member who reregistered SIX TIMES AND SPAMMED LIKE CRAZY because he thought that he needed to be a ♥♥♥♥ psychiatrist. Rereg'ing maliciously or not, the rules say you can't do it for any reason whatsoever (April Fools' Day stuff excepted and all). I pretty much summarized my thoughts on this in my last post…also, did you read the chat log MOY?

Trust me, MIC. If, say, Buff reregistered just because he felt like it, you'd command mercy, but if Destroyer1 rereg'd because he thought it was OK to have a backup account, you'd flip out and have him banned. Same goes for 99% of the normals here.
