Bump. This thread is a year and a half old. For these sort of threads, just post a new one or PM the staff if you have any questions.

I agree with Chau, except that I thought you can bump stickied topics. :3

Ahaha, oops, didn't notice the sticky. XD Was doing this on an iPad and kinda just skimming through things. My bad. It still should be said to please only bump any sort of topic with meaningful or detailed posts.

Two things:
If you report a post by the "!" button, is the staff automatically able to see the post or does it still need to be linked?
Second: If you see a peccadillo which shouldn't be avenged with a warning, e.g. a double post in the level portal, is it better to tell its author to remove it via PM or should you still report it immediately?

1: They can see it automatically.
2: You should still report it, the mods will edit the post.

Guide about spam wrote:If you send someone 3/4 pms in a row about something, leave it there and wait for their reply. I say 3, because it's easy to forget something, and you can't edit a sent PM.

For those who don't know, sent PM's can be edited as long as they're in your outbox / the addressee hasn't read it yet.

Yes, unread PMs CAN be edited as long as it is sitting in your "Outbox". Once it is in "Sent", your chance is gone.

Also, there is an exception in the double post rules for art threads and level threads. You are allowed to multi-post there because it is reasonable to assume that you would add/change things, and nobody else might have posted.

And, as far as I know, yes, the report button makes an entry in a log including a pointer to the offending post. Buff, Amp, Confirm?
