That's precisely right. I'm not really a fan of games like LBP and God of War, so I suppose that's part of the reason I like the 360 better. Nonetheless, It's a complete matter of opinion, in my opinion.

Though, I must point out, you did say you're not a fan of RPG's, whilst GOW3 is one of such.

Triggers aren't only used in FPS'. They're made for racing games. You see very few racing titles on the Wii because of this, with the exception of Mario Kart, which merely worked well because it's not a realistic racing game. Racers with proper speed gauges and such would need the triggers.
