StarCraft and StarCraft II

Postby Ridder » November 28th, 2009, 11:18 am

Okay, for those of you who do not know....
There is a PC RTS game called Starcraft, as you can tell from the name, it was made by the same guys who made Warcraft. I am a big fan of Starcraft because it is not only fun, but there is a multiplayer filled with fun, as long as you don't get hacked.....

Recently, there is a sequel, called Starcraft II, but It is hard to decide whether you will buy all three or not.
Hmm? What? All Three? Oh yes, I forgot to mention, Blizzard is breaking the game into three parts, and selling all three at the [sarcasm]LOW LOW PRICE OF $50 EACH.[/sarcasm].
there are several other problems with Starcraft II as well, like the no LAN thing.
LAN is related to MUltiplayer if you didn't know.

It is also harder to tell where all the units are now, I have just realized, that within a massive fight, you would not be able to find any single unit.
In Starcraft, all the units had a thick black line and hardly any of that 'Enviorment' effect on them, so it was piss easy to find the SCV all the time.

So, your thoughts?

THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."

"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."
-Ezio Auditore da Firenze explaining the Creed, 1514, Masayaf.

Really? How are they seperating the game? You mean like... Terran, Protoss and Zerg? Cause That would mean a campaign for each of them. In a war game like Starcraft, you do not really need to be able to single out one character, just have them grouped up and marked as group #, (Ctrl+#) I'm still excited that SCII is coming out though, :D AMEN!
