Today, I'll talk to you about two things.

First of all.

ZUN's releasing a new album. Neo-traditionalism of Japan.
He's remixing Fate of Sixty Years and Unknown X Unfound Adventure.

Second, this is plain fangame advertising. BUT IT MUST BE DONE.

Fantasy Maiden Wars.


Also known as Gensou Shoujo Taisen, it's a fangame that is based on Super Robot Wars. Currently, they've released two parts.

Part one, E (Kou), based on the events of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Something interesting is that the game manages to introduce characters that appear in the later games (like Keine and Nitori) and even introduces characters from the PC-98 era. It's 15-ish chapters long.

Part two, P (You), based on the events of Perfect Cherry Blossom and Mountain of Faith. It also introduces new characters, and if you have cleared the last chapter of FMWE, you can use your old save to play this game. It's 18-ish chapters long.

Touhou Rhythm Carnival! Scarlet.


This is pretty much Rhythm Heaven, Touhou-like. There are several minigames, and you must get the highest score possible by pressing the buttons in sync with the music to do lots of stuff, like eating apples or pouring tea.

It may sound simple, but the game's really exigent in regards to the rhythm, and there are some really frustrating minigames. It's really fun, though.

Most minigames use only Z, but there's a few that use both Z and X, and there's one who uses Z, X and the arrow keys.

Also, the music is awesome.
