No, not knockoff. It had similar gameplay and crafting elements that it didn't seem like much was new to me. In other words, not much original creativity.

I was playing with three other people, one of which who had been healing us constantly. It didn't help, not with the ♥♥♥♥ six bosses at once with at least ten minibosses. I was getting spawncamped as well.

Posted: October 27th, 2013, 3:04 pmI've been finding out some pretty cool 1.2 stuff regarding a new game, so I wanted to share some tips with you guys.
First off, if you see pumpkins, GRAB THEM; they are very useful. You can make Pumpkin Pie, which is like the Bowl of Soup but lasts longer, and pumpkin armor, which gives a total of 7 defense plus 10% increased damage. Not too shabby, especially considering wooden armor sucks.
Next, go find a desert and collect a bunch of cactus. You can make a Cactus Pickaxe (which doesn't have the -1 range that the Copper Pickaxe does) and a Cactus Sword (which is larger and stronger than a regular Wooden Sword).
Lastly, if you're gusty enough to brave the Corruption or Crimson early on, grab some Ebonwood or Shadewood and make a bow and a hammer. Both are much stronger than their normal wood counterparts, and not very difficult to collect.

Posted: October 28th, 2013, 12:00 amI've just been getting extremely lucky with drops. I don't even have the Nurse in yet, and I have a Bone Sword, Enchanted Boomerang, Bloody Machete and Bladed Glove.
