When I have a bit of software which lets me spawn anything it gets a bit hectic. (The character had spawned stuff, but the only thing I used was the harp lol.)

All of this was skill, I didn't hack to get any extra power or health ETC.

Nin and me were smushing the Eye of Cthulhu yesterday, although he did most of the work, since he has a Minishark. :p
Also, we tried to defeat the Eater of Worlds for Shadow Scales, except the summoning didn't work. I also wasted about four potions accidentally drinking them.

Nin, I'd just like to say, good job on everything you do. You can cream enemies, you can take down bosses, your tactics are brilliant...

Another thing I found that is great for beginners is make regeneration potions. They're easy to make, only requiring one bottled water, one mushroom, and one daybloom.

I just found saving the ingredients up until the WOF works better lol.
If you go early chest raiding ( The crappy ones ) then you mostly get ironkin, regen, night owl, Shine? or swiftness.
Also early on in the cave layer, if you think tactically, you can get to hell easy.

Solution: Potions. Regen, Ironskin, etc.

Ah-ha, so finally I have a use for all that Blinkroot, Moonglow, Waterleaf, Daybloom, mushrooms, and all the other crap that clogs up my inventory to the point where I have about twenty-five chests.

I defeated Skeletron just now, he was SUSPICIOUSLY easy. I managed to make it with purely the MInishark (under 500 ammo), one Ironskin potion and one Regen potion, with minimal preperation (just half-flattening the dungeon roof and adding torches). I also had just 16 defense, not wanting to part with the Archaeo-hat or Miner's Helmet for a Shadow Helmet or whatever.
