My favorite game of all time would have to be Mario 3, but my favorite recent game is Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Eh, same here. But to admit, I found another game I liked. Mega Man Zero 3. Yes, I said it. For the 3rd game in the series, it had a lot of content.

A huge plot spoiler in the story, brand new villain (Well, if you beat the game before this, you find a cutscene where the villain's plan is about to go into motion.), bunch of secrets & collectables, & if your playing on Mega Man Zero Collection (Which I am sure most of you did like me) you can use mod cards which do strange things to the game like change the looks of stuff, make things appear or disappear, change the title screen background at the menu, power-up cyber-elves, and even power-up Zero's Z-Saber & Blaster!

With the large amount of stages it has along with secrets, it took me up to 3 hours for a speed-run on this game (not counting a secret boss fight hidden in the game).

Now, let me summarize it. You have an intro stage, 4 main stages, a stage where you have to stop a missile, another 3 more stages (from past games along with a boss from the past games), another stage at Area X, 4 more normal stages, and 3 final stages (Not really sure if I am right, but its been a while since I beat the game). So that totals up to around 16 stages. Wow.

And it gets better. After beating the game once, I believe your given a hard mode. Which entering the code to start a new game makes Zero wear black armor (referring to Mega Man X4) & prevents him from using fully charged attacks (which the saber its pretty much useless to charge). The charge level only goes to green, so the blaster still works with that, just barely. You also have lower HP when you start. Now here is the worse part, because of the charge attacks not being able to charge fully, the chips don't work effectively. Trust me, I bet you can't beat hard mode if you depend on charge attacks for everything.

Completing curtain conditions in the game allows you to obtain mini-games! Yes, these mini-games are unlockables. If I remember right, there are 4 minigames. One you control Zero, another as Fake X, and the other 2 I can't remember.

There is a door in almost every stage called Cyber Doors. Going inside allows you to travel to the cyber world. There are benefits & punishments for this. The only benefit that almost anyone knows is that Cyber-Elves are more powerful/effective in this world. Now the bad stuff: You receive fewer points for using this after the mission & you can't enter mini-boss or boss rooms (As you are forced to leave the cyber world to challenge the boss or mini-boss).

And to admit, I have no problem with re-used graphics. As the graphics were pretty good & good at it's time. So yeah, this game has a lot of game content. But a notable question, what do you get for beating Hard Mode? I truly have no idea. But that's all I have to say about this game.

So recently discovered the true face of emulators and started Megaman, Kirby's Adventure and Metroid. Kirby's my favourite one so far, but others aren't any lower. Gotta take a break from Steam.

yes yes yes kirby series is amazing

as far as favorite games goes here's my personal list;

1. Kirby Air Ride [GCN] (OH MY GOD SO MUCH FUN. I'm not just talking about City Trial either - standard Air Ride and Top Ride modes are lots of fun. Combine that with 360 unique challenges/checklist boxes and you got yourself a game you could easily spend hours on.)

Between 1 and 2 is every other Kirby game in existence except for Avalanche.

2. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 [PC] (Storyline is FANTASTIC. One of the greatest games I've ever played, and not just because of storyline - gameplay is also top notch. All units are balanced and have a way to counter them, and units don't clip through eachother, meaning that you actually have to think and plan rushes instead of just zerg rushing opponents mindlessly. Gameplay's also easy to pick up, and hard to master due to the fairly fast nature of the game. It also has some of the most memorable characters ever - Premier Romanov, Yuri, Tanya, President Dugen, Colonel... crap, forgot his name. :< It also has one of the best extra content CD's [I wouldn't call it DLC, more like an expansion] that I have seen up to date. Seriously, they added two whole new campaigns following up the end of the Allied Campaign, a major plot twist, AND bug fixes, unit balances, new maps, and the like?? It's crazy!)

3. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals: Ring of Fates [DS] (I've always been a fairly big fan of the Crystal Chronicals spinoffs, but oh man is this game amazing. Yes, voices and dialogue can get a bit cheesy at times, but the plot is brilliant. The ending was also incredibly sweet, and this game single handedly made me cry more times than any other game or story I've ever witnessed. It also gave me some good laughs. Gameplay is great, and the level design is really good... mostly. I will say that underrealm area after Sinner's Isle was pretty annoying because I'd get knocked off the cliff a lot. :P)

4. Xenoblade Chronicals [Wii, soon on New 3DS] (I would say more about this game but I'm not going to spoil it. Incredible story, though I was not at all a fan of the ending. Character cast is brilliant, and the story doesn't really get dull anywhere. Gameplay is nice, and battles are engaging and can get real fun. Though there are some small details that bug me a bit, namely auto-attacks having a bug where you only deal the lower half of the auto-attack damage range, and a few other things I won't mention to not spoil stuff.)

5. Call of Duty 2: Big Red One [GCN, though I think CoD 2 was on other consoles as well] (Unlike a lot of the bland, mindless shooting games that CoD tends to be known for, the second game of the series was actually incredibly well done. It only has single player, but that's all I could ever ask for. The storyline and music is FANTASTIC. Not to mention the level design, which kept me playing for several years on end, even though I suck at shooters. The difficulty makes a huge difference - On Easy Mode you could tank 20 bullets, on Hard you can only really tank 2 bullets or less, really forcing you to think and have good reflexes. Even though I suck at shooters I really love this game. It even goes as far as to [DON'T YOU DARE SPOIL YOURSELF IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME] kill off some of the main characters that really grow on you, EVEN YOURSELF. ; n ; It really captures the unforgiving aspect of WWII, and even though America joined late their troops still suffered through all the crazy ♥♥♥♥ they had to take down. Which sucks because the people in your squad really have personalities, and stand out as individual characters, and I really felt bad for all the hell they went through.)

6. Sins of a Solar Empire [PC] (Easily one of the best RTS's I have come across. Gameplay may get a little slow at times and large maps could easily drag games into hours or even days upon playtime, but it's kinda hard to say that's a fault when they modeled this game to be like a board game, except with RTS elements and real-time. And they did that near perfectly - diplomacy mechanics are excellent, factions are mostly balanced, units are very well balanced, and it's one of the few RTS's where it's possible to defend a Zerg Rush, and actually gain an edge if you can defend one successfully. The tech trees and faction bonuses allow you to play different playstyles with one faction, which is something I enjoy a lot. I will say this, though... ♥♥♥♥ THE COWARD'S SUBMISSION TECH ON THE ADVENT LOYALIST. DEAR. GOD.)

7. Mario Kart 64 [N64] (Out of all the Mario Kart games, I think 64 stands out to me as one of the best. I've spent hours on this game for the mere fact that it's one of the few games where you aren't over-reliant on items. A lot of driving skill and how well you control a character comes into play more often than not, and no two races end up the same as a result. Course design is pretty well done, though I will say this game has one of the worst Rainbow Roads in existence. I haven't played Mario Kart 8 yet, so I don't know how good the items are in that game, but regardless I feel 64 is one of the best Mario Karts to date.)

8. Supreme Commander 2 [PC] (Now I know that Forged Alliance and the first one have a much broader unit selection, and generally better small details, but that's not to say SC2 has a fantastic soundtrack, fast gameplay, and still have a broad selection of units and a fantastic tech tree. It also has pretty good DLC, but I personally do feel like defensive structures are moot and rushing/mass production is very overrated in this game. Regardless, that didn't stop me from working around it and having fun.)

9. Mario Super Sluggers/Superstar Baseball [Wii/GCN] (Seriously, this title is so underrated. I know baseball mechanics are not something everyone's familiar with, but it's actually one of the easiest sports to understand compared to football and such. And the game itself is very well polished! Playing it with friends is even doubly more fun, and there's a surprisingly good amount of strategy you can put into your team, when to make a sacrifice play, what pitch to use, etc.)

10. Super Mario Galaxy (How did I forget this?? Sorry Nintendo Land, but Super Mario Galaxy definitely gave me a lot of fun. Not just 1, but 2 I'm still playing today because of how memorable it is - Even today I still remember Toy Time Galaxy, the fantastic soundtrack, stunning graphical work, etc. You'd think Space would be empty and they couldn't work with adding great graphics, but clearly that was not at all the case. Oh, and that story really made me cry. ; n ; )

11. Nintendo Land (Another underrated title, really. This game becomes so much fun when you have people to play with you, or even when you just want to play by yourself some of the single player attractions. Though I suppose it can be a problem if you have nobody to play with...)

Ace Attorney Trilogy. Everything is perfect for these games. Soundtrack, story, characters, gameplay. Good grief, am I glad that this franchise exists.

Some honorable mentions;

- Ace Attorney Series (More specifically Justice for All and Ace Attorney Investigations, but the series as a whole is great. Granted, there are some unfortunate characters I wished to see more of/did not care for at all, and there are a few instances where the game is hit or miss, but other than that it's overall great.)
- Mario Party (YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME ONE COOIINN)
- Fortune Street (so much BS like in mario party but i love it anyway, strategized version of monopoly is amazing)
- Team Fortress 2 (because why not)
- Super Smash Brothers series (Really fun games and has kept me hooked for 10+ years. Does have some character imbalance problems though, and heavyweights often have difficult matchups.)

There's a lot more I could mention but those are the ones that stood out to me the most.

I can't believe I forgot to mention Castle Crashers or Battleblock Theater. (Or Super Meat Boy) But eh, not really going to edit most the posts. I may just only edit the mistakes I made & the alternate music list I made. Sorry I ain't that active, but I am on steam... :troll:
