I'm really digging Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational. Been playing it since late December, and for some reason it's now making me want to get a duplicate of Open Tee 1 & 2 for my PS Vita via PSN. (My two original copies for the PSP just aren't enough, and I'd like to start them over without deleting my original progress [got -29 or something in Alps]).

Would like to get back into Pyramid 2 on my 3DS (and my 3DS in general), but its A and B buttons are really finicky due to wear-down (and somewhat with the X and Y buttons too...), and the barcode came off...

And now for an updated list of favorite games

1. Kirby Air Ride [GCN] (OH MY GOD SO MUCH FUN. I'm not just talking about City Trial either - standard Air Ride and Top Ride modes are lots of fun. Combine that with 360 unique challenges/checklist boxes and you got yourself a game you could easily spend hours on.)

Between 1 and 2 is every other Kirby game in existence except for Avalanche. Because Avalanche is terribad :s

2. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 [PC] - Storyline is FANTASTIC. One of the greatest games I've ever played, and not just because of storyline - gameplay is also top notch. All units are balanced and have a way to counter them, and units don't clip through eachother, meaning that you actually have to think and plan rushes instead of just zerg rushing opponents mindlessly. Gameplay's also easy to pick up, and hard to master due to the fairly fast nature of the game. It also has some of the most memorable characters ever - Premier Romanov, Yuri, Tanya, President Dugen, Lieutenant Eva, General Carville, etc... It also has one of the best extra content CD's (I wouldn't call it DLC or such, more like an expansion/massive update) that I have seen up to date. Seriously, they added two whole new campaigns following up the end of the Allied Campaign, a major plot twist, AND bug fixes, unit balances, new maps, and the like?? It's crazy!

Between 2 and 3 is every other C&C game with the exception of all games past C&C Renegade. I'm sorry, but Red Alert 3 and C&C 4 were pretty terrible :s

3. Splatoon [Wii U] - As if this game didn't skyrocket hype before its release, this game exceeded all my expectations and hype. The gameplay is fast, fun, furious, and defensive play IS ACTUALLY A THING FOR ONCE ADSFASDFASDFASDF

Easily the best part about this game is the multiplayer. All the multiplayer weapons are balanced (for the most part, though the Aerospray RG isn't terribly overpowered if you know how to strafe/kite enemies), and although kills definitely help your team, they aren't a total shutdown if you happen to get killed. I've had teams where we got killed two times more than the other team and still win somehow ._.

The music is incredibly good (one of my favorite OST's up to date), the single player is rather charming, and the backstory... oh man, the backstory, research notes, and all the culture/past history behind the Inklings and Octarians are crazy. Oh, and the final boss is one of my favorite final bosses ever. No seriously, it's incredible. Don't spoil yourself - go play it for yourself. The overall difficulty in single player is balanced well, and can get a little tricky towards the end. But most important of all, stay frreesshh 8)

4. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals: Ring of Fates [DS] - I've always been a fairly big fan of the Crystal Chronicals spinoffs, but oh man is this game amazing. Yes, voices and dialogue can get a bit cheesy at times, but the plot is brilliant. The ending was also incredibly sweet, and this game single handedly made me cry more times than any other game or story I've ever witnessed. It also gave me some good laughs. Gameplay is great, and the level design is really good... mostly. I will say that underrealm area after Sinner's Isle was pretty annoying because I'd get knocked off the cliff a lot. :P

Oh, and the music is fantastic. I know Splatoon took this game's spot from my last list, but that doesn't mean this game is terrible. I think even for being underrated, it's a great, great game.

5. Xenoblade Chronicals [Wii/New 3DS] - I would say more about this game but I'm not going to spoil it. Incredible story, though I was not at all a fan of the ending. Character cast is brilliant, and the story doesn't really get dull anywhere (except for, of course, the ending). Gameplay is nice, and battles are engaging and can get real fun. Though there are some small details that bug me a bit, namely auto-attacks having a bug where you only deal the lower half of the auto-attack damage range, and a few other things I won't mention to not spoil stuff.

6. Call of Duty 2: Big Red One [GCN, though I think CoD 2 was on other consoles as well] - Unlike a lot of the bland, mindless shooting games that CoD tends to be known for, the second game of the series was actually incredibly well done. It only has single player, but that's all I could ever ask for. The storyline and music is FANTASTIC. Not to mention the level design, which kept me playing for several years on end, even though I suck at shooters. The difficulty makes a huge difference - On Easy Mode you could tank 20 bullets, on Hard you can only really tank 2 bullets or less, really forcing you to think and have good reflexes. Even though I suck at shooters I really love this game. It even goes as far as to [DON'T YOU DARE SPOIL YOURSELF IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME] kill off some of the main characters that really grow on you, EVEN YOURSELF. ; n ; It really captures the unforgiving aspect of WWII, and even though America joined late their troops still suffered through all the crazy ♥♥♥♥ they had to take down. Which sucks because the people in your squad really have personalities, and stand out as individual characters, and I really felt bad for all the hell they went through.

7. Reassembly [PC] - Although it's still in beta, I was shown this game by a friend of mine. The game appealed as an open-world (randomly generated world no less) space exploration game where you build a spaceship and conquer sector after sector. Sounds kinda generic at first, but when you get into the nitty gritty of the game, there's a TON of well done elements. For one, I'm a big sucker for music in games if you couldn't tell. Here's my favorite song from the game. The music and atmosphere is incredibly well done for an open, seemingly endless space feel. And it ranges from pumping you up in battle to feeling just flat out creepy and like you're completely alone in darkness...

As for the actual gameplay itself, it's very well thought out. Granted, it has a learning curve, but if you like tinkering with stuff, experimenting, and building ships piece by piece, you'll love this game. This game goes down to the smallest detail when building ships - whether or not components are connected to eachother, how big armor can get/shrink, all the different weapons and general components your ship can hold, thrusters/engines, power supplies, cargo, etc. And the best part is, it's a 2D game, so building your ship is complex and takes some time but won't take as long as, say, Robocraft where you build in 3D.

Most of the factions/components in this game are balanced, though since it's beta there's obviously exceptions. Poor Faction 3 got left in the dust with very high powered weapons, but low range, thrusters, and very, very, VERY bad armor. The same goes for Faction 4 (I know having the factions be given numbers is a little odd), though at least Faction 4 has pretty good shields and slightly better armor. Faction 5 is kinda overpowered but fairly basic, they are a little limited in component variety. Faction 1 (starting faction) is the most developed though, but that doesn't stop me from using the other factions.

But the absolute best part? No matter what, your ship WILL have a weakness. Even if you play Faction 5. I dare you to play this game and make a ship that wins every single round against other creations.

8. Sins of a Solar Empire [PC] - Easily one of the best RTS's I have come across. Gameplay may get a little slow at times and large maps could easily drag games into hours or even days upon playtime, but it's kinda hard to say that's a fault when they modeled this game to be like a board game, except with RTS elements and real-time. And they did that near perfectly - diplomacy mechanics are excellent, factions are mostly balanced, units are very well balanced, and it's one of the few RTS's where it's possible to defend a Zerg Rush, and actually gain an edge if you can defend one successfully. The tech trees and faction bonuses allow you to play different playstyles with one faction, which is something I enjoy a lot. I will say this, though... ♥♥♥♥ THE COWARD'S SUBMISSION TECH ON THE ADVENT LOYALIST. DEAR. GOD.

7. Mario Kart 64 [N64] - Out of all the Mario Kart games, I think 64 stands out to me as one of the best. I've spent hours on this game for the mere fact that it's one of the few games where you aren't over-reliant on items. A lot of driving skill and how well you control a character comes into play more often than not, and no two races end up the same as a result. Course design is pretty well done, though I will say this game has one of the worst Rainbow Roads in existence. I haven't played Mario Kart 8 yet, so I don't know how good the items are in that game, but regardless I feel 64 is one of the best Mario Karts to date.

8. Mario Super Sluggers/Superstar Baseball [Wii/GCN] - Seriously, this title is so underrated. I know baseball mechanics are not something everyone's familiar with, but it's actually one of the easiest sports to understand compared to football and such. And the game itself is very well polished! Playing it with friends is even doubly more fun, and there's a surprisingly good amount of strategy you can put into your team, when to make a sacrifice play, what pitch to use, etc.

9. Super Mario Galaxy [Wii] - How did I forget this?? Sorry Nintendo Land, but Super Mario Galaxy definitely gave me a lot of fun. Not just 1, but 2 I'm still playing today because of how memorable it is - Even today I still remember Toy Time Galaxy, the fantastic soundtrack, stunning graphical work, etc. You'd think Space would be empty and they couldn't work with adding great graphics, but clearly that was not at all the case. Oh, and that story really made me cry. ; n ;

10. Nintendo Land [Wii U] - Another underrated title, really. This game becomes so much fun when you have people to play with you, or even when you just want to play by yourself some of the single player attractions. Though I suppose it can be a problem if you have nobody to play with...

11. Supreme Commander 2 [PC] - Now I know that Forged Alliance and the first one have a much broader unit selection, and generally better small details, but that's not to say SC2 has a fantastic soundtrack, fast gameplay, and still have a broad selection of units and a fantastic tech tree. It also has pretty good DLC, but I personally do feel like defensive structures are moot and rushing/mass production is very overrated in this game. Regardless, that didn't stop me from working around it and having fun. Also, having structures take up your unit limit was a pretty bad idea. :s

Honorable Mentions:

- Mario Hoops 3 on 3 [DS]
- Ace Attorney Series - More specifically Justice for All and Ace Attorney Investigations, but the series as a whole is great. Granted, there are some unfortunate characters I wished to see more of/did not care for at all, and there are a few instances where the game is hit or miss, but other than that it's overall great.
- Mario Party - YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME ONE COOIINN
- Fortune Street [Wii} - so much BS like in mario party but i love it anyway, strategized version of monopoly is amazing
- Team Fortress 2 [PC] - because why not
- Super Smash Brothers series - Really fun games and has kept me hooked for 10+ years. Does have some character imbalance problems though, and heavyweights often have difficult matchups.
- Pikmin series {GCN/Wii U] - Great RTS, though the gameplay is a little slow and it's very hard to macro manage in that game. Regardless, I love the open worlds, visuals, and all the enemies and backstory.
- Pokemon - because why not
- Super Mario Bros. - especially NSMB on DS and Wii, great platformers with lots of replayability

I feel like I'm missing something but I'll leave it at that for now
Expect something cool here soon!

Animal Crossing.
Especially for the GameCube. I have approximately 30 towns, making my experience everlasting (20 as of 2013 and got many more since then, but I never bothered re-counting them ever since).

I just want to say, town layouts in the GameCube version aren't as limited as some people may think. I have been pretty inactive recently because I've been resetting nearly all 30 (approximately) of my towns because most of them were terribly generic, partially because I didn't know about the "reset trick" back then, but mostly the fact that I have matured so much since then.
Some of my renewed towns are ridiculous. XD I wish I could share them soon, but I don't yet have anything good to record console games with.

I regret selling my City Folk disc back in 2009/10, but I might be getting it again this coming week. (My old City Folk town was awesome, but my recent GameCube towns kinda make it feel obsolete. Good thing there's a reset button. :>)

It's a little Steam game that comes from a series of flash games, so I don't know if anyone would've heard of it. But Epic Battle Fantasy 4 is immensely fun. :3

My top 8 favorite games:

1: Super Mario Galaxy.
Although I don't play it anymore, I still think it is the best nintendo game ever made (except for mario 64. That thing was epic.)

2: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
It didn't have as many partner badges as I would have hoped but other than that it was almost perfect.

3: Homeworld: Remastered.
The game that revolutionized the concept of real time strategy. Now remade on steam with better graphics!

4: Epic Battle Fantasy 4.
Haven't heard of it? Look it up. It is a really good turn based strategy game on steam.

5: Civilization: V.
A game that needs more future-era troops and technologies. Still really good though.

6: Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance.
A great real time strategy game. Not as good of a background story as the original but more units and structures is cool as well as a new faction. Has cool mods too.

7: Last Legacy: Null Space.
The fact that this is on there probably suggests that I need to get a new console/more steam money.

8: Minecraft.
This game used to be my favorite until Microsoft took over it. Now they are slowly ruining the game.

5 849 473: 90% of COD games.
The worst game series that exists today thanks to the extreme amount of crappy sequels. Gets worse every year. Each new game is like charging $30+ for a patch.

EDIT: changed 'every COD game ever made' to '90% of COD games'.
